Why is it necessary to study the values and norms of other countries before entering International Business?
Answer: Different places or countries has different culture, we follow different norms and values. That is why it is necessary for a business to study these differences before entering into international business. Studying the norms and values of a country can avoid any complications internally and externally. Internally in the sense that employees will be able to understand each and every one because they are open that they are diverse and has different beliefs. While externally meaning dealing with the third parties, deeper understanding with their values and norms can create camaraderie and will have a positive effect into the business. Understanding the different perspective enriches the business and can be a way for it to become successful. Recognizing different perspective and ways of living shows respect to the country where a business plans to operate. If a business gives respect to the country, then in return people will also respect the business.

What are the beliefs in our country that affects business?
Answer: There are different beliefs in our country that affects businesses be it positively or negatively. First is being a family oriented, we Filipinos believe that we should put our family first that is why we tend to always go out and treat our families. Then because of these businesses can have an income. Second is being a Christian, when we know that the owner of a certain business is a Christian then we will buy to him/her. We also believe that for a business to be successful there should always be a house blessing. Another is being thrifty; we Filipinos are known for being thrifty that is why some business has some loss in income. And for different part of the country such as in the Muslim Region, the pork vendors have lower income because of their belief in that specific place. Beliefs are just our guide but there is nothing wrong in following them.
