Her Excellency Jana Sediva, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Philippines paid a courtesy call on Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Wednesday.

"Sa amin pong pag-uusap ay nabanggit po natin kung paano nakabangon ang Czech Republic mula sa pananakop ng Soviet Union noon, at kung paano natin ginagaya sa Lungsod ng Maynila ito ngayon," Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said.

Last June 2020, Manila City launched Face Masks Sewing Livelihood Program through the Public Employment Service Office, drawing inspiration to how the Czech Republic rose from the Soviet Union's occupation.
