Happy 4th of July! Stay Safe & Healthy!
Happy 4th of July!
I want to wish everyone a very Happy 4th of July, may you all have a fun family filled day with lots of good food with some Fireworks involved. I hope you stay safe & healthy!
In the United States alone every year on the 4th July some where between 300 and 600 fatalities will occur in a single Holiday Weekend. A majority of these deaths will most likely be the result of alcohol. The rest of the fatalities will be result of human error with the possibilities of vehicle defects.
Another cause for concern depending upon where the 4th of July is being celebrated is shootings. In 2021 alone 618 were injured by gun violence with at 233 people killed by gun violence during the 4th of July weekend. The loud fireworks in rural areas takes away from the sounds of gun shots.
Which also leads to lack of reporting gun shots as fireworks are just as loud. Than we have our heath to worry about as well. This will be the season of sky rocketing Covid-19 reports that will be flooding in during the course of the next 3 weeks as a result of carelessness of everyone celebrating without taking proper precautions to avoid getting sick or infecting others.
Although I believe Covid-19 has been overly played out, I still suspect the whole "Monkey Pox" to enter us into a second pandemic. (hopefully not)
Just yesterday in Chicago Illinois here in the United States, 50 people were shot and 9 of them have already died. So, if you are here in the States or abroad celebrating just be careful and stay vigilant. You could save your own life or the lives of others.
What is the 4th of July?
The 4th of July is a Federal Holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence which was ratified by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776
The Founding Father delegates of the Second Continental Congress declared that the Thirteen Colonies were no longer subject to the monarch of Britain, king george III and were now united, free and independent states.
The Congress voted to approve Independence by passing the Lee Resolution on July 2, 1776 and adopted the Declaration of Independence two days later on the 4th
Typical Celebrations?
The most common type of celebrations in the United States involves a grill, alcohol and plenty of Fireworks. Cities and towns typically have a small parade of local businesses with the streets lined up with vendors and people, followed by decent displays of Fireworks.
When I was younger the 4th of July was one of the few days that we gather at a family members home, eat good food, socialize and than watch some fireworks while drinking and having a good time.
I can recall a couple of times that these events went south with fireworks being shot towards spectators unintentionally. Thankfully no one was injured during those displays. However yearly a lot of people suffer severe injuries from Fireworks. Some people lose limbs.
A lot of fires tend to happen, especially in places that have had droughts. Although a drought doesn't have to occur to accidentally set a home on fire with fireworks that tend to go their own way.
No matter what your plans are this Holiday Weekend try not to worry about those Crypto Portfolios too much. I will do all the worrying so you don't have to. Every thing should be some what normal on Tuesday. I wouldn't be shocked to see a #BTC or #BCH dip in the mean time.
