What is Food?

As we all know that food is the most essential material for the body, and it is almost everyday we take something into our stomach. Food can also be regarded as a substance in which when taken into the body produces a balance diet, makes hunger to decrease.

Why must we feed?

Food is very important as to survive daily and also makes one to grow, if you don't eat you will not live long and if you eat you will also live long, vice_versa.

Food is very essential to our lives, different tribe and countries have thier own way of cooking and different food that they do eat.

for example the Yoruba have thier own food, the Igbo tribe have thier own food, the Hausa tribe also have thier own food, USA, Canada, London, Ghana and many more tribes and countries have thier own food which they are sticked to or love eating.

In the Igbo trybe now we have so many foods that they cherish, although they also like eating swallow I think it for the whole tribe in Nigeria, even the hausea loves eating swallow.

But all the while time have a different name they call their swallow and have a different method of them eating it.

What is swallow?

Swallow is just like a general name given to a food you won't chew but you will swallow them instantly after touching the soup.

Many people have different ways of eating their swallow, some Igbo peope will first use their left hand to roll it, throw it up and start cutting it with the right hand then they swallow.

However we are talking about the Yoruba Tribe only, the two best foods they can' t do without are

1. Swallow type ( Eba, Pupuru, Semovita, Fufu, and many more)

the Yoruba tribe love swallow, they can' t do without it, most Yoruba people love eating swallow, although it is an heavy food. especially the one called EBA.

How To Prepare The EBA:

make sure you have enough powder of the garri mixture, make sure you have a bowl and a long stirring rod to make the swallow smooth and enjoyable.

put some quantity of water on fire and maje sure it is the one you can finish, waisting excess food might not be a good idea. Then after the water is hot to a stage that bubbles are coming out, then pour it inside the bowl, then add the garri powder and mix, stir, in order to get a smooth mixture and serve it in a plate when done.

2. Rice/beans

Although this two are not local foods they are eaten by many people in many countries of the world, but no matter what the Yoruba tribe do eat beans and rice often, is also part of their daily food
