In 2014, Bangladesh surprised the world by singing the national anthem with millions of voices at the National Parade Ground. Which is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

On 15 October 2009, World Handwashing Day, 52,960 people set a world record by washing their hands together. It was organized by partner organizations including UNICEF, Lifeboy, BRAC.

The world's largest bat is 111 feet long and 12 feet wide. 6 students of Shahnawaz Hall of Dhaka University made this biggest bat in the world on the occasion of World Cup. It took them 15 days to make the bat.

The name of Mohammad Rajab Ali of Bogra is 'Super Grand Father' in the Guinness Book. Rajab Ali, who died at the age of 115, has more than 500 grandchildren.
