Wild berries jam

Today I propose an "express" jam, with an intense fruit flavor and light consistency, which is made in approx. 20 minutes with only fruits and sugar. It does not require water and unlike the jams we buy in supermarkets, this one has less sugar . Use the seasonal fruit you find in your city to take advantage of its natural sweet.

Ingredients: (for almost 1.4Kg. jam)

780gr. of wild berries

280gr. of strawberries

350gr. cane sugar

You can also use blueberries, raspberries, blackberries or any combination thereof.

  • Select and wash the fruit, remove any leaves and stems and place it in a high-edge pot.

If you want to change the amount of fruit, add one-third of its weight in sugar to keep the balance of the ingredients.

  • Pour the sugar and cook over medium heat. When you see the liquid starts to boil, lower the heat to a minimum, put the lid on the pot and wait until the fruit is cooked. There is no need to remove.

  • When the fruit is soft (mine melted in just some minutes), remove the pot from the heat and let it cool. Then blend everything.

  • Optional: if you want a seed-free jam, strain it.

Here below you can see how light the jam consistency is. It has an incredible flavor and is perfect for spreading toast, bread or cookies. Keep it in the refrigerator, it lasts perfect for at least 2 weeks and maybe more, but I have not been able to control that; D

I hope you like the recipe. Try to do it at home, you will not regret it.

It's usually better to have two articles - one for each language, because people who don't understand Spanish - are distracted by Spanish parts, and people who don't understand English are distracted by English parts :)

Thanks a lot for the tipp @Read.Cash
You are right, I thought it was better to do it in the way you suggest, but I was not sure if it was allowed to publish the same recipe in different languages... I will follow your suggestion, I think the channel would look tidier. Thank you again, have a nice day.
