Actually we can buy lagundi syrup now in our pharmacy. But let me encourage you to make your own if you have available lagundi plant in your home.
Prepare these materials:
1 big pot
1 big frying pan
1 long laddle
1 stainless pot
2 pcs clean cloth
2 kls fresh lagundi leaves
Ingredients:
80 glasses of water
600 pcs lemon (kalamansi)
6 kls brown sugar
Procedure:
Put on the big pot 80 glasses of water then add the 2kls lagundi leaves. Let it boil for 30 minutes then get out from the fire by straining on a piece of cloth going to the big frying pan.
Put it on the fire again then add the juice of 600 lemon and 6 kls of sugar. Stir it every 15 minutes until it becomes syrup. Strain it on the other clean cloth when it is cold and thats already LAGUNDI SYRUP of your own homemade.
Dosage:
0-3 yrs old 1 tsp 3 x aday
4-7 yrs old 1 tbsp 3 x a day
8 yrs old and up 2 -3 tbsp 3 x aday.
Note: because this is not synthetic you don't need to worry the overdosage. My kids liked it spread on their bread as sandwiches. They really love the taste not medicine but part of their food.
