Kadambini Ganguly

Kadambini ganguly was born in 18 July 1861.she was the first lady doctor in bangla .she was the one who made calcutta medical college open its doors to woman students . During the east India company's rule in India,woman's right and education seemed a far cry.woman hid behind their veils,and social evils like child marriage and satisfying marred society. Most woman were not allowed to get an education or be working profession.but kadambini ganguly breaks all rules and she became a doctor in that time.she suffered a lot for becoming a doctor. She died at 3 October 1923.
