The Japanese government plans to extend the state of emergency until the end of May. Japan's state-run news agency NHK said Prime Minister Shinzo Abe would make the announcement on Monday.

According to news agency Reuters, the Japanese government is expected to announce new restrictions and measures to prevent the corona virus.

More than 487 people have died in Japan so far from the corona virus. The virus has infected more than 14,500 people in Japan.

The NHK also said that Prime Minister Abe would inform the public about the reasons for extending the state of emergency.

The Japanese government declared a state of emergency on April 7 in Tokyo and on May 6 in several other provinces. The government later declared a state of emergency as the infection spread.

Japan, the world's third-largest economy, is at risk of a recession after business was shut down due to the corona virus epidemic.

This crisis is best regarded as an escalation that has occurred due to series of miscalculations by both Iran and the United States. Iran acted in accordance with its belief that U.S President Donald Trump was “a president who would not pull the trigger.
