Leati Joseph 'Joe' Anoai, now popular wrestler, better known as Roman Raines, was born on May 25, 1985, in the Anoai family of Pensacolo, Florida, USA. In the circle of friends, he is called Joe Anoai.
wWE World Champion Roman is an American professional wrestler and former defensive tackle player on the Canadian football team. He weighs 120 kg and is 6 feet 3 inches tall. He joined the WWE to maintain the wrestling future of the Anoa'i or Samoan-American family. He is currently the 6-time World Champion in WWE.
Roman's personal life:
Half Samoan-half Italian in Roman heredity. His father was Sika and brother Rosey was also a wrestler. She is the cousin of Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, The Tonga Kid, The Usos and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's cousin. He tattooed Samoan with one hand, known as 'tatau', following his lineage.
He married Galina Joelle Beckar, the mother of one daughter, in December 2014, at the age of 21, and they now have five children. Roman is rumored to be drinking alcohol even though he does not smoke. Roman football career:
Joe has been addicted to football since his childhood, and whenever he had time, he would take his cousins to play football on the field. There were also football bugs on the school field. Roman played football in the "defense" role from an early age. His dream is to become a football star like Pele or Maradona. And that's why when he crossed the school boundary and went to high school, he joined the domestic football team and played football for 3 years in high school life. In college life, he was named "Defensive Player Of The Year".
While at the Georgia Institute of Technology College, Roman played collegiate football and chose football as his profession. Roman himself was the captain of his college team "Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket". Roman began his professional football career in 2006, during which time he played for the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL (National Football League). However, Roman was released a few days later.
The Jacksonville Jaguars team of the same league then took him to the team. In 2006, he wore the number 99 jersey for the CFL (Canadian Football League) 's Edmonton Eskimos and played a full season, with Roman playing a total of five matches. His best match in the CFL league was against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, where Roman defended five goals. Roman retired from football on November 10, 2006.

History of Wrestling:
In 2010, Roman saw his grandparents, uncles and even cousins, most of them professional wrestlers. He felt wrestling was in his blood. He started taking wrestling training from his father Sika Anoai and with him from Afa Anoai. Later in July of the same year he joined WWE's Florida Training Center Florida Championship Wrestling Company.
As a child, Roman's grandfather wanted Roman to grow up to be a wrestler, keeping his lineage, and his dream of joining WWE seemed to come true.
Roman entry into WWE:
Roman Rains made his wrestling debut in 2010. Roman joined WWE in July 2010 and on 9 September he made his WWE Development Territory title FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling), named Roman Leakee. Roman started with the first two match rates of his life. He got his first win on 21 September against Fahd Rakman.
Roman played his first championship match, teaming up with Donny Marlow on July 6, 2011, for the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship, but they did not win that match.
On February 5, 2012, there was a Triple Threat match between Roman, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, in which Liaki (Roman) gave Seth and Dean a Samoan drop together. Liaki pinned Dean Ambrose with his finishing spinning bulldog to win the match and became the 1st Contender for the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship. But Roman could not win that match.
He then went on to win the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship with Dalton Marlow, which was his first championship win. After completing his two-year training course at FCW, he joined NXT on October 31, 2012 as Roman Reigns.
E Roman's debut in WWE and Shield's debut:
Roman Rains made his WWE Main Roster debut on November 16, 2012 in the Survivor Series PPV with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as a member of the terrifying team 'The Shield'. The Shield helped CM Punk become champions by attacking Ryback in their debut.
Shield's first feud was with WWE Tag Team Champion Kane & Daniel Bryan's Team Hell No. The Shield played their debut match with Tim Hell No and Ryback on TLC PPV and they won that match, then they had a minor feud with The Rock & Ryback in January 2013.
In February 2013, The Shield vs. John Cena, Ryback and Sheamus met in the Elimination Chamber. The Shield also won that match. He then teamed up with Sheamus, Randy Orton and Big Show to play The Shield at WrestleMania XXIX. Shield also won that match.
Shield then feuded with Team Hell No again and Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins became WWE Tag Team Champion at the Extreme Rules on May 19th. They then defended their title with Team Hell No, The Usos & Prime Time Players. The Shield played an Eleven-On-Three (11 vs. 3) Handicap Elimination match on RAW on 23 September. Roman and Seth, Cody Rhodes and Golddust lost their titles on Raw on 14 October.
• Record of Survivor Series and Royal Rumble Elimination:
In the 2013 Survivor Series PPV, Roman single-handedly eliminated 4 people to tie the record for most eliminations, then feuds with CM Punk, and in January, in collaboration with The Shield, Roman loses to Punk in the special episode Old School.
Roman entered the 2014 Royal Rumble PPV at number 15 and eliminated 12, setting a new record for most eliminations. The runners-up in that match were Roman and Batista won. The Shield then feuds with The Wyatt Family. The Shield lost in the elimination chamber, against the Wyatt Family.
The breakup of the Shield and the Roman solitude journey:
At WrestleMania XXX, The Shield matches Kane, The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn), and Shield wins that too. NextOn the same day, Seth Rollins attacks Roman and Ambrose, breaking The Shield.Roman has played singles ever since.
In Money in the Bank 2014, Roman played his first WWE Heavyweight Championship match with John Cena and lost. He then got a chance at the WWE Heavyweight Championship match at Battleground. It was a fatal 4 way match but Roman was unable to win it. Roman and Seth then feud, the match between them at Night of Champions was fixed, but Roman had to stay out of WWE for surgery if he was diagnosed with a hernia problem.
• Slammy Award and Royal Rumble wins:
On December 6, Roman returned with the youngest "Superstar Of The Year" Slammy Award.
At the 2015 Royal Rumble, Roman eliminated Big Show, Kane and Rusev, won the Rumble match and won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship title shot at WrestleMania. Roman received a negative reaction from the spectators after this match.
Fastlane defended his WrestleMania title shot against Daniel Bryan in 2015. During the WrestleMania XXXI main event Brock Lesnar Vs Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins pinned Roman to win by cashing in his MITB. This match was one of the best matches of Roman's career.
After that, Roman's feud was with Big Show, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt, and Brown Strowman made his debut in Roman and Bray's feud. Roman, Ambrose and Y2J play with The Wyatt Family and lose.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship wins:
In 2015, Roman participated in the WWE World Championship match which was vacated due to the injury of Seth Rollins. Roman Raines became the WWE World Champion for the first time in his life, defeating Big Show in the first round of the Survivor Series, Cesaro in the quarterfinals, Albetro Del Rio in the semifinals and Dean Ambrose in the final. But his championship was only for 5 minutes and 14 seconds. Shortly after Roman's title win, the then Mr. Money in the Bank Shaymas came and cashed in MITB and pinned Roman to win.
The result was a title match with Shaymas in the next PPV TLC but unfortunately for the League of Nation he was unable to win the title again and attacked Triple H to interfere. On the next day's Raw, Vince Mickman gave her a rematch of the title match with Shaimas, but according to the stipulation of this match, Roman Harley had to leave WWE.
Overcoming interference in that match, he defeated Sheamus with a spear and won the title of WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the second time. At Royal Rumble 2016, he had to defend his title with 29 others. HHH won the title by entering the match at number 30.
Feud with Triple H, AJ Styles:
After winning the match against Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose at Fastlane, Roman got a second chance to play in the WrestleMania main event against HHH. Roman won that match and became the World Heavyweight Champion.
He then defended the title twice with The Phenomenal Aj Style, Roman Payback and Extreme Rules. After losing to Aj at Extreme Rules, Seth Rollins backs up from injury to challenge Roman for his title. Seth won by countering Roman's Spear in Pedigree at MITB.
Roman's drug test catch and punishment:
On June 21, Roman was suspended for 30 days for taking banned drugs and violating WWE's Wellness Program. It is said that WWE knew about this before Money in the Bank and that is why he was removed from the title. Roman later apologized to fans on his Twitter account.
In July 2016, Roman Raw was drafted as the second pick in the WWE Draft. Raw's new title lost to The Demon King Finn Bálor in the WWE Universal Championship tournament and Roman dropped out of the Universal title shot.
Then his US title feud with Rusev began. Although he finished in the no-contest at the Summer Slam, Roman became the first United States champion after losing to Rusev in the Clash Of Champions PPV. Roman defends the title in the next Hell in a Cell.
• WWE Universal Championship Feud:
Roman then challenged WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens for a non-title match and won the match to win the championship match at the next PPV "Roadblock: End Of The Line".
That match on December 16 ended in disqualification from Roman's winning position as Chris Jericho attacked Owens during the match. Jericho defeated Roman in the US title match on Raw on January 9, in which Owens also contributed.
As a result, on January 29, a Royal Rumble match between Roman and Owens resulted in a no-disqualification championship match in which Roman was defeated by Braun Strowman. In the Royal Rumble match that night, Roman entered number 30, eliminating Bray Wyatt, Chris Jericho and The Undertaker, but was eventually eliminated by The Viper Randy Orton and was runner-up.
On March 5, Fastlane pinned Roman Strowman in PPV to become the first person to lose. Roman then began feuding with The Undertaker.

Roman defeated The Undertaker in a No-Holds-Barred match at WrestleMania 33 in 2016. At the end of the match, Taker took off his wrestling gear and left the ring. That means Roman Reigns is the second person to lose to Taker at WrestleMania which was one of the biggest achievements of his career.

Roman Brock lost to Lesnar in the WWE Universal Championship match at the SummerSlam PPV on August 20 where Strowman and Joe were involved. Then the Roman and Cena feud began.
When Cena challenges Roman for the match, the match is set for No Mercy between them, cutting off some shoot promos (promo about any real life issue or promo that breaks Kifab) against each otherDefeated.Shield Reconstruction and Grand Slam Achievements:
Roman Rains, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose reunited on Raw on October 9, 2016. During The Miz's "Miz TV" segment, first Roman and then Ambrose and Seth, one by one, attack Miz, Curtis Axel, Cesaro and Sheamus, and finally hit the Shield's signature move triple power bomb above Miz. In the Survivor series, "The Shield" vs. "The New Day", Kofi was hit by a Spear hit by Roman. The Shield then wins by hitting a Super Triple Powerbomb from Top Rope.
On Raw on November 20, Roman Reigns defeated The Miz to become the new Intercontinental Champion, making him WWE's 16th Grand Slam champion and 26th Triple Crown champion.
Raines then began an open challenge for his title, losing to Elias, Jason Jordan, Cesaro and Samoa Joe one by one, and then ended his 63-day title rain at The Miz on Raw's 25th anniversary. The Roman Royal Rumble then became the runner-up of the Rumble match at PPV. After that, in the rematch of the IC title, Raines was unable to win the title.
• Feud with Elimination Chamber Joy and Brock:
Then on February 25, Rains defeated Bray Wyatt to qualify for the 2018 Elimination Chamber PPV Chamber match. In that first-ever Elimination Chamber match in history, Strowman defeated Miz, Elias, Cena, Bálor and Rollins alone, but was eventually defeated by Roman Reigns, the No. 1 contender for Roman Brock Lesnar's Universal ChampionshipIs.Then his feud with Brock begins.
Roman failed to beat Brock Lesnar in the WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 34 on April 6, 2016. Feud and UC title win with Bobby Lashley:
Rains lost to Bobby Lashley in the Extreme Rules PPV. The next two triple threat matches on Raw are to pick Lesnar's opponent at SummerSlam, Roman wins one and Lashley wins the other, and the match between them is to pick the number one contender, which Raines wins. Summerslam defeated Raines Lesnar in PPV and won the Universal Championship for the first time, ending Lesnar's 504-day winning streak.
Roman Finn then defeated Baller in the first title match. He later started feuding again with old rival Money in the Bank winner Brown Strowman. In this feud, Roman is assisted by Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, while Strowman is assisted by Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler.
Brock Lesnar interfered in the match between Roman and Strowman in Hell in a Cell PPV and attacked both of them, resulting in a no contest. The result was a triple threat match between Brock, Roman and Strowman in the WWE Crown Jewel PPV. But then comes the sad news.
Roman Blood Cancer and Returns:On Raw on October 22, 2016, Roman Raines shocked the WWE Universe by announcing that his leukemia, or blood cancer, had been diagnosed 11 years ago but has now resurfaced, forcing him to vacate the Universal Championship. The promo that started with the audience's boo ends with the chant "Thank You Roman". Rains talks about returning in that promo.
By the way, Roman returned on January 25, 2019 and told the overwhelmed audience that his leukemia had been brought back to normal. Shield then reunited and Roman, Seth and Ambrose Fastlane defeated McIntyre, Lashley and Corbin in PPV. Roman was then drafted on SmackDown in the 2019 Superstar Shake-Up.
When Raines attacks Elias and Vince McMahon, a match with Elias is settled in Money in the Bank, which Raines wins. Shane McMahon then plays a match with Roman to avenge his father's insult on Super ShowDown, where Rains is defeated by McIntyre's interference.
As a result, Stomping Grounds played Roman McIntyre in the PPV and won despite Shane's interference. The Undertaker then defends McIntyre and Shane Roman, and Roman and Tecker win the No Holds Barred tag team match against them in Extreme Rules PPV.
• Feud with Rowan, Harper, Corbin:

In TLC PPV, Corbin and Roman lost the Tables, Ladders, And Chairs match between Ziggler and The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson).
This was followed by a Falls Count Anywhere match between Roman and Corbin at the 2020 Royal Rumble PPV where Roman won with the help of The Usos. Roman was runner-up once again in the Royal Rumble match that night. Roman then wins Roman and Corbin's Steel Cage match at Super ShowDown PPV and their feud ends here.
Effects of Corona and Roman Rest:
Roman then challenged Goldberg to the Universal Championship and their match was settled at WrestleMania 36. But sadly on April 3rd it was announced that Raines would not participate due to the COVID-19 epidemic, which could be fatal to the weakened body as a result of Roman leukemia. Raines later said he had to make the decision in the family's interest.
Roman returns at the end of the Universal Championship match between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman at SummerSlam on August 23 and attacks both of them.
• Hill Turn and Universal Title Win:
On the next SmackDown, Rains announced the name of Paul Heyman as its new manager and for the first time since 2014, the much awaited Hill Turn. In the next payback PPV, Roman won the Triple Threat title match between Roman, Bray and Strowman and won the Universal Champion title for the second time.
He then began feuding with the Roman Usos as Hill. As the Romans continued to beat Jey Uso in the title match at Clash of Champions PPV, Jimmy came and accepted the rate on Jey's behalf, recognizing him as the head of their family. Jey Uso does not want to accept the announcement of Paul Heyman Roman as the Tribal Chief of the Anoa'i family on the next SmackDown and they will play the title match again in Hell in a Cell PPV.
Some unknown facts about Roman's career:
(1) He is currently the only wrestler to have had a chance in the WWE without having played in other development circuits, indie, or other wrestling organizations for a very short time. He was only two years at FCW and won the FCW Tag Team Championship!
(2) Apart from WWE, he has never won a tag team title in any organization in his 5 year career.
(3) He had 4 nicknames before coming to the main roster. But in 3 years, only one nickname has become "The Powerhouse".
(4) Although Roman won the 2015 Royal Rumble match, he was runner-up in these four Rumbles in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. In 2017, he came at number 30 in Ramble and eliminated Roman Teker.
(5) The Roman Royal Rumble lasts three times and is eliminated to the members of The Evolution Team - to Batista in 2014, to Triple H in 2016 and to Randy Orton in 2016.
