The response period for the COVID-19 pandemic is still not over. We should continue to implement the health protocols. Nor should we forget our vigilance, caution and other measures to prevent its spread.

Moreover, various new variants are reportedly emerging. The last variant that has started to take its toll is the Omicron. If this is not addressed wisely, quickly and carefully, it can create a third wave and will endanger all fields.

Another important thing we have to do is vaccinate. This is one of the spearheads for the community in protecting themselves from COVID 19. Vaccination will increase the body's immunity and make it a fortress from the threat of the corona virus.

The mass vaccination movement is carried out by the government. Almost all aspects are used to administer vaccinations. Of course this is expected to meet the target with a comprehensive vaccination.

Face-to-face Learning Preparation

In the world of education, everyone is expected to get the vaccine in two doses. Educators or employees who work in the field of education are prioritized. Likewise, students are required to take vaccinations. All of this is expected to bridge the face-to-face learning process.

Because since the outbreak of COVID 19, learning has been done online. Even that is still far from expectations. Students cannot absorb knowledge or lessons optimally. Limited facilities and understanding of internet technology are also obstacles in online learning.

As a result, many parents who lack teaching experience become dizzy with their children's learning. Children can not or have not been able to use the internet to learn. Most are still widely used for playing games or social media. If an alternative solution is not immediately found, it will be dangerous for the younger generation when they grow up.

Realizing the need for vaccination for students, my son as an elementary school student also participated in the vaccination. The school where he studied today held a vaccination program. The first dose of vaccination uses Sinovak Vaccine.

Steps

Prior to vaccination, students were given a questionnaire to fill out as a screening method. Before the vaccine was given, the students had their health checked. The temperature is measured with a thermogan. Blood pressure is also measured so that the systolic and diastolic are known. After going through several interviews about the latest condition and my child was declared healthy and ready to be vaccinated, he was asked to go to the vaccine room.

I accompanied him starting from the examination so that he could answer the officers' questions. When I was in front of the vaccinator my child looked a little nervous. Well, here, the role of parents is needed to provide a sense of calm. I say the taste of being injected with a vaccine is the same as any other injection. Like an ant bite. Finally my son was injected without fear anymore.

After we finished we went home and asked him to rest more.
