In life there is a difficult thing that we always face, namely consistency. We often find people making resolutions during the new year. A resolution that is certainly a renewal of the spirit. Promise to work hard to achieve the target. Will make a big revolution for the next year.

We also always see there are people who promise in front of many people. We see many political figures promising something in front of their constituents. Promise to make people prosperous. Will provide convenience and facilities to ensure a better life.

Just look at every presidential election campaign. There must have been so many promises. They do this in order to attract people's attention and then hopefully they will elect him as a leader. When doing the campaign, the audience was so excited. Applause and praise from supporters became decorations during the campaign period.

Various media were invited to cover the pronunciation of this promise so that the public and potential voters would know. Print media, electronic media and even social media are ways to launch programs when in power in the future.

For the rival camp, of course, will look for its weaknesses and then become a weapon to attack through various means. Sometimes use black campaign. A method that often succeeds in bringing down or giving a bad opinion to its competitors.

However, often as time goes by, the promise is just a promise. Realization of promises becomes very less able to be fulfilled. Eventually supporters and others will be disappointed. They will feel their choice is wrong.

Maintain consistency

Consistent attitude is an attitude that is the embodiment of what is said or intended and done not only to gain popularity. A step that takes a long time to be said to be a consistent person.

In our daily life, we can see this attitude through his perseverance and always doing it for his own sake. For example, we are already planning to wake up in the morning. So the form of consistency is to always wake up early without having to look at work days or holidays.

In fact, we often tolerate being inconsistent. At first, you can start feeling sorry, too tired, still sleepy or not feeling well. From this attitude then we allow ourselves to sleep longer or lazy to wake up. As a result, it is very difficult for us to do consistent siak.

There are several things that need to be considered to maintain consistency

  1. Set goals

    Goals make us always on the right path to achieve them. We will always remember that in doing for the sake of achieving goals. This will bring us to always remember to be consistent.

  2. Don't tolerate debilitating

    We must not give ourselves the opportunity to weaken ourselves by giving bad tolerance. For example, when we are trying to get up in the morning, suddenly it rains heavily, making us feel more comfortable under the blanket and not getting up early. This will make our consistency less.

  3. Realistic targets

    When setting goals or targets we need to be realistic. Don't set unattainable goals. Goals are motivators, but if you push yourself too much, it's not good.

  4. Doing with pleasure

    We need to do things with pleasure so we don't have to. If we do it with pleasure then the heavy things become less felt. the only ad is a sense of pleasure to be able to do a good job.

  5. Support from the environment

    Support from the people around us will further strengthen the attitude of consistency. If everyone around us can support each other and remind us to always be patient, strong and enthusiastic, then we will be able to do good consistency.

Thus all our efforts to keep consistency.

To be honest, I have really that inconsistent attitude when the pandemic began. I just can feel that I'm not being productive everyday. I just want to lay down on bed, eat, relax, play games and repeat. Thank you so much for this! Good article.
