Birth and lineage: Caliph Hazrat Umar Farooq (ra) was born in Mecca in 563 AD in the Quraish dynasty. His father's name is Khattab and mother. Hantamah. His real name is Umar, his title is Farooq. One day he went out with a sword to kill the Prophet (peace be upon him). But on the way he heard that his brother-in-law and brother-in-law had converted to Islam. Hearing this, he ran to Bain's house in anger and rage. Going there, he melted his heart when he heard the sweet words of the Qur'an in Bain's voice. He went to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and joined the shadow of Islam.
