2020, What a year.
Just some of the worst events that has happened in 2020
This year 2020 has really not been a good year in so many ways, all starting from the world wide outbreak of the virus, corona virus (covid-19). It has really caused damages and has troubled a lot of people, a lot of lives have been lost, made some businesses to stop operations for some time and has resulted in some of these businesses to shut down permanently, causing a lot of people to lose their jobs, now how do they take care of their families and even themselves, so bad indeed.
Are we talking about the explosion in Beirut? That killed over 158 persons and injured over 6000 people, the very sad part over 300,000 people were displaced.
Even in a country like the United States of America, a lot of bad news about what's happening there is now what we see on our televisions, like the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, the shooting of Jacob Blake that caused massive protest all over the state leading to people damaging properties and stealing... So sad. A lot of complains and protest due to racism. And these protest are increasing day by day in other countries due to so many reasons.
Both in East Africa and South Asia where billions of locust has infested their farms threatening the food supplies of tens of billions, which could lead to death caused by hunger.
What pains me more right now is the death of Chadwick Boseman.. A really good actor with good personality, just at the age of 43.
I can't really say all, but sure this year has not really been a good year, but we are sure that in the future things will get better.

Difference between Crypto Coin and Token
Today I'll be talking on a topic that has confused a lot of people especially those who are new to cryptocurrency.
Sometimes people use the term “coin” to refer to what other people call “tokens” and vice versa.
*But what are the differences between them.*
What is a Coin:
The definition of a digital coin is an asset that is native to its own blockchain. Think about Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Ether. Each of these coins exists on their own blockchain.
To understand it better..
Bitcoin operates and functions on the Bitcoin blockchain
Ether operates and functions on the Ethereum blockchain, and so on.
All the “coins” exist as data on a giant global database. This database (or *blockchain*) keeps track of all the transactions and is checked and verified by computers around the world.
What is a Token:
Tokens often get called digital coins. However, this isn’t correct. There is a major difference!
Tokens are created on existing blockchains. In fact, thanks to the creation and facilitation of smart contracts, the most common blockchain token platform are Ethereum. Tokens that are built on the Ethereum platform are known as **ERC-20 tokens.**
However, there are others such as NEO, Waves, Lisk, and Stratis. While, as mentioned above, tokens on the Ethereum platform are known as ERC-20 tokens, NEO uses tokens known as NEP-5 tokens.
Anyone can make their own custom token on one of these platforms.
So now what's the difference.
And so in sum, the simple explanation of the difference between coin vs. token is that a coin has its own blockchain, while a token doesn’t.
Another thing to note is that coins usually are used for 1 thing (payments), while tokens have various use cases, which can include payments but also other things. For instance, when comparing a coin or cryptocurrency vs. utility token, utility tokens are used to access a product or service.
For example, Basic Attention Token (BAT) is used in the Brave web browser ecosystem. Advertisers pay publishers with audiences in BAT, audience members receive BAT for viewing advertisers’ ads, and audience members can use that BAT to donate to publishers or keep the BAT for themselves.

If I say I see shadow and a reflection, you might say that you only see a shadow, and that is where you and I vary (thinking patterns).
And here your mind and mine take different paths down the road, and as I see you from my space I can understand duality and the significance that it carries, I see you standing, but, only as a single part in my life, for I can sense that you desire the one way path, but I seek much more than what is beyond that path, and that is why I say *"perspective"* always natter to me, not only mine, but others too...
Because when people change their *"perspectives"* everything about them changed too.

Bad day
**Hey guys, I hope you all are doing just fine, despite all the challenges covid has brought**.
Well as for me I've been fine, not until yesterday got so dissapointed and sad when my phone fell off my hands while trying to charge it on my bed, was so shocked to the point that I couldn't even pick the phone up..
What kept going on in my head was if there'd be any damage or not, and even if there was, would it be the screen? I couldn't say.
Well I finally picked it up and guess what? My phones screen was broken, it was as if I was dreaming, cause this is the worst period to spoil what helps you kill boredom.
It was really a bad day for me, but sure, I'll be better soon.

The virus spread,quicker than fire. We locked the doors with hope to inspire.
Stay inside are words that matter. You could save a life or 2, preferably the latter.
Stuck in quarantine,things became obscene. I'm sure you know, Carol Baskin is mean.
The tiger man became the talk of the town,while you were in your pj's and unwashed gown.
The guys in blue went off to war, while we sat inside behind a door.
They fought each day to save a life, no worry about there's, but moments of stuff.
We stood on our steps, clapped so loud. For the heroes unknown, we are so proud.
Think for a moment when you step outside, for the heroes that fought also died.

Well well, I made some delicious noodles today, and decided to share it with you guys, it's really easy to prepare, sure you would love to know how I made this and what I used.
First I cut some onion,tomato and pepper.
Fried some sausage and made omelette with some chopped tomato and onion.
Fried some plantains.
Heat up water in a pan, pour the noodles and seasoning in the boiling water.
Let it cook for some mins (depends on how cooked you want it) and add little amount of oil.
Add the chopped onion, tomato and pepper to my noodles, and let it cook a little.
Serve the cooked noodles, and then add the fried sausage, plantain and omelette to your noodles.
Enjoy.

Hello everyone, I'll be stating the meanings of some Crypto acronyms and some terms too.
Let's start with acronyms.
ATH
All time high.
The highest price that a cryptocurrency has ever reached.
DAPPS
D- Decentralized. APP-Application
Decentralized applications, describing a blockchain-based application that operates entirely in a decentralized way.
DCA
Dollar Cost Averaging.
This is an investment technique used to reduce the impact of market volatility by spreading out buys and sells over an extended period of time.
**FOMO**
Fear of missing out.
This is commonly experienced in a rising market where new investors experience the fear of missing out on gains to be made.
The effect of this demand is to drive the market price higher.
**FUD**
Fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
These emotions are common in volatile markets.
ICO
Initial Coin Offering
This is similar to an initial public offering (IPO) in the equities market.
An ICO is used by cryptocurrency startups to raise capital for their ventures.
A set number of coins is offered for sale to the public in exchange for fiat or other cryptocurrencies.
Beware: pls know that most ICO's are scam.
**PoW**
Proof of work.
This is used to validate the creation of cryptocurrency by miners who are required to solve complex calculations.
This difficulty is instituted so as to make it harder for cyber attackers to add invalid blocks to the chain.
**PoS**
No not the regular POS you know.
Proof of stake.
Individuals can gain rewards via a proof of stake in case they hold more currency in their wallets for a length of time.
**ROI**
Return on investment.
This is the profit made on an investment or transaction.
**TA**
Technical analysis
This technique is used by market analysts to predict price action.
**HDOL**
Hdol is slang in the cryptocurrency community for holding the cryptocurrency rather than selling it.
It is actually a term derived from a misspelling of "hold" that refers to buy-and-hold strategies in the context of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
DEX
Decentralized exaxange
It is a cryptocurrency exchange which operates in a decentralized way, that is, without a central authority. Decentralized exchanges allow peer-to-peer trading of cryptocurrencies.
Now let's look at some terms and thier meaning.
Airdrop
An airdrop is a distribution of a cryptocurrency token or coin, usually for free, to numerous wallet addresses. Airdrops are primarily implemented as a way of gaining attention and new followers, resulting in a larger user-base and a wider disbursement of coins.
Though there are so many airdrops that are either fake or scam.
Note: Don't **pay** to get an airdrop.
Fork
This term applies to a blockchain that’s split into two separate chains, normally to accommodate new governance rules.
Genesis book
This describes the very first block in any blockchain.
**Going long/going short**
These terms describe a margin trade that profits when the price either increases or decreases.
Node
A blockchain isn’t stored in a central location.
In fact, it’s distributed to any number of computers – called nodes – which host it.Each node is instrumental in verifying the ledger within the blockchain.
Pump or dump
This is a form of market manipulation by traders who artificially inflate prices and then exit the market, thus causing a collapse in the price.
Whales
Whales are investors who hold a significant number of coins or other cryptocurrency. They can have a marked influence on market movement.
Imagine having up to 10,000 bitcoin, sure you can be called a whale.
Votality
Market or price volatility refers to the movement in the price of a cryptocurrency over time. The cryptocurrency market typically experiences wild swings between high and low prices.
Today eth could be $200, tomorrow you might be surprised to see it at $140, vice versa.

Let's go.
Address
Addresses consist of between 26 and 35 characters and represent a unique wallet ID on the blockchain, much like an account number. They’re used when conducting transactions on the network, including the receipt, remittance, and storage of cryptocurrency.
Altcoin
At first I was confused about this coin, thinking it's a crypto coin on its own. Haha.
But it usually refers to any cryptocurrency coin other than Bitcoin, which was the original cryptocurrency. And there are over 1000 cryptocurrencies in the market.
Bagholder
This is the name given to an investor who’s left holding cryptocurrency after it has dropped in price.
Block
These are packages of permanently-recorded data on the blockchain network.
Blockchain

This is a distributed ledger secured using cryptography.
It’s a database that’s accessible for everyone to read.
Even so, data can only be changed by ledger owners.
Data isn’t stored on a centralized server, but is instead shared by thousands of computers around the globe.
Halving
Recently we saw bitcoin halve, but what does it mean.
**Bitcoin halving** is a process of dividing the number of generated rewards per block in order to maintain the total supply of **Bitcoin**, which will not exceed 21 million. Block rewards are the main engine of **Bitcoin** mining and, therefore, the main power behind the operation of the network.
Bitcoins have a finite supply which limits the number of coins issued to 21 million.
The number of Bitcoins generated decreases by 50 percent every four years, a process that’s known as halving.
The final halving will occur in 2140.
Fiat Currency
A fiat currency is any currency that’s issued by a government or a central bank, such as the dollar.
Hot wallet
A hot wallet is connected to the internet and used to hold cryptocurrency for everyday transactions.
Because of the increased security risk over a cold wallet, a hot wallet should not store large amounts of currency.
Mining
Cryptocurrencies aren’t printed like traditional currencies – they are mined.
This process uses computer hardware to solve complex mathematical problems and decrypt hashes.
Miners are rewarded for their work with cryptocurrency coins.
Mining rig
Cryptocurrency mining requires a huge amount of power.
Mining rigs consist of multiple graphic processors (GPUs) to increase processing power.
Moon
When a cryptocurrency coin goes on a market run and drives the price up quickly, it’s referred to as mooning.
Node
A blockchain isn’t stored in a central location.

Private key

Words of compassion may add glimmer of hope,
But most often than not, lenghty words never work.
Spoken useless words;words we cannot take back,
The better left unsaid, that utter in a snap,
It will cut like a blade in a single stab,
Will add more injury than to fill the gap.
Learn to be silent when words are not needed,
practice tact of the tongue, but open up the ears,
A subtle touch of hands,and an eye that intent,
A shoulder to lean on, when words are not needed.

We will get better.
The blossom will always grow.
The seasons will always change.
People come and go,
Their shadows comforting and strange.
The flowers will always bloom
Once the darkness subsides.
When every corner is filled with gloom,
Remember the sun just hides.
Brighter days will follow.
Earth will keep moving.
Look for the brighter color.
Help lift the darkness looming.
Breathe in the air around us.
Close your eyes for a minute's rest.
Live life for those who guided us,
For this moment is just a test.
You will get stronger.
Days will get longer.
Hope will flourish,
Memories to cherish.

Be inspired
Life is a lot of work. What is it that gives us the strength to continue when we are tired and burned out? Sometimes an inspirational idea can help us renew ourselves and be filled with strength to fulfill our life's purpose. Inspiration comes in many forms.
However, the root of all inspiration is the idea that our lives are meaningful. Inspiration is knowing that what I do matters deeply to the universe. When you have the feeling that your actions are meaningful, you will become filled with strength and vigor to fulfill your life's purpose.
Nature.
The power, ingenuity, and sheer beauty found in nature has always fascinated not only me but also mankind.
When we look at powerful ocean waves rolling in, we cannot help but feel small and powerless in comparison.
Mighty trees in a vast forest inspire feelings of insignificance and awe.
Animal mothers taking care of their young make us question the cruelty with which we sometimes treat one another.
The truth is, nature can teach us many valuable lessons. It can also lead us to wonder, did this beautiful earth with all of its natural treasures come about by chance or was it created?

Relieve from the boredom and stress caused by COVID-19
A virus that has kept many indoors.
We all know for sure that staying indoors doing nothing or running out of things to do, not seeing friends, going to school and majorly not going for work can really be worrying and annoying.
So we ask ourselves what do we do to kill the boredom, some have a solution to that, but for me to kill the boredom I use read.cash, sure it does help me cause I get to read,improve my writing skills, learn new things, share thoughts with people far and wide and interestingly get to earn some cash.
Now isn't that a wonderful way to kill boredom and forget about worries from staying indoors?. Sure it is.
