Do you like to use your cellphone before bed? Most of our generation is used to this. You might think this is a great opportunity to check our email, play a favorite game app, or say hello to friends on social media.

But not everything we think most people usually do has a good effect on us. Usually, if we do not know, it can have a bad effect on our health. According to experts, using a cell phone at night has negative effects on us.

Some of the side effects we have accumulated are:

Difficulty sleeping

The cellphone emits blue light which in turn interferes with the production of melatonin in our body. Melatonin is an antioxidant that is important to fight diseases such as cancer, weight gain, depression, and anxiety.

Increased risk of cancer

Melatonin is an effective and natural way to fight cancer in our bodies. If it is interrupted by blue light, the chances of us having it will also increase.

Some of its other risks are:

- Weight gain

- Depression

- Not being alert

- Slow response

- Eye damage

- Damage to the retina and cataract disease

Gadgets have become a part of our lives. This is also called "needs". It can be used by children or adults as a hobby or as a means of communication. But under know it to us, excessive use of gadgets has a detrimental effect on our health. Here are some:

Sleep problems

This is the leading effect of excessive use of gadgets. The blue light we get from our gadgets causes slow production of sleep hormone. We feel we need to be awake and alert but in fact, it is what keeps us from sleeping.

Tech neck

The "tech neck" is the common pain we feel in our necks and shoulders. This causes us to lean for a long time in front of our computers and gadgets.

Computer Vision Syndrome

Computer vision syndrome is the strain on our eyes due to over-focusing on our gadgets. It can cause irritation and blurring of our eyes.

Poor Posture

Due to the excessive use of our cell phones, it can lower our backs due to sitting in the same position for a long time.

Laptop Laziness

Excessive use of gadgets adds to the laziness of our body which affects to reduce our physical activity.

Those are just some of the negative effects of using gadgets. The use of gadgets is normal but we limit its use to avoid its possible side effects.
