You can understand how people can be humble and do heinous things in an instant in order to fulfill their needs just by watching this movie. Social realism has been portrayed in great depth. Even if we never see our own mistakes, we start criticizing the mistakes of others whenever we get a chance. But just when someone catches our mistake in a logical way, it is as if the day is starting to be as dangerous as the world. I know why we can't correct ourselves, but instead we keep making the same mistakes over and over again. It seems that this is human nature which can never be defined precisely.
Originally, the movie was made in the form of a combination of family and social inconsistencies, values and morals. There are some movies that are left to hare after watching. Elena is just such a movie that will make you think, make you think and deeply appreciate.

Technical Aspects: The cinematography was great. Can say lively. Capturing and enhancing the scene with a little more time was quite natural, authentic and unique. Besides, the background music of the movie seems to give birth to a different feeling in the mind. Also the camera work, natural lighting, ambient, script, screenplay, casting and acting were very good. Especially the one who played the role of Elena. And Russian beauty Elena Lyadova's performance was good for a short time. The girl looks pretty good. Beauty with a Brain. Leviathan (2014) starred in the movie. All in all the director has been able to present a simple story in an extraordinary way.

📌 A few words about the director: Andrey Zvyagintsev is a well-known and acclaimed name in the critical arena rather than in the audience arena. This director has extraordinary artistic skills. Personally, I like his direction a lot. Those who have seen The Return (2003) know him quite well. Other movies I have seen directed by him are - Leviathan (2014), The Banishment (2007), Loveless (2017). I liked the movie Loveless very much. A movie to remember.
Award: The movie won the Special Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. The movie also won the Golden Eagle Award in the Best Film category and the Asia Pacific Screen Award in the Best Actress category.
In the end I will say that "Elena" is definitely a very good movie as a Contemporary Drama movie. You can take a look at the time.
