There are some South Indian movies that don't look old even after watching them again and again, but create new interest. One such movie is "Theran".
Yes, I am talking about the action thriller genre movie "Thiran" released in 2016. This movie has the ability to create a scary anxiety even though it is not a very good looking horror movie. The good news is that the movie is based on a true story that happened in India (Operation Bawaria) which impressed me even more. The movie proves that it is possible to present a movie based on a true event in such a thrilling and exciting way.
We may be scared of many ferocious animals but the movie clearly shows how ferocious people can be and even how barbaric they can be. Man is a deeply existential creature but the extent to which he can be violent in order to survive is somewhat predictable on the movie screen. Not everything that is shown in the movie is true, but what else can be said in the context of the fact that I found some similarities with the present time!
It's better to listen to two dialogues on the screen ---
🔰 ‘-> What’s the point of wasting time telling our stories now with a completely state free tour at government expense? Why not agree that you can not catch them?
=> No, sir, I can catch it, but on the day a senior officer like you or a political figure is killed, strict action will be taken and the police will take it seriously, but as long as it happens to the public, it will not be taken into account and crime. It will continue! '
🔰 ‘-> Highways have changed, technology has changed among the police, but if we talk about this case, if even a part of the respect given to a VIP was given to the public, many people could have been saved from death. So who was wrong? '
🎥 Plot 6
The first scene begins at the police station where all the old case-related documents are being removed. Just then, an old file falls into the eyes of a police officer on duty at the station which is a document of a shocking robbery that took place a few years ago. And from there comes the name of a police officer whose name is "Thiran Thirumaran". From here, back to the 1995 flashback. This is the beginning of the plot.
