Swapping OP for ETH on Trust Wallet
If you're like me and you kind of want to mostly stick to the big cryptos, I've just recently discovered a way you can swap any Optimism you've earned on Publish0x (or any other earning platform) for Ethereum on the Optimism Network. It's rather simple: if you use Trust Wallet, simply click on your OP tokens, then click swap, and there you can exchange for ETH via the OP Mainnet and a provider like 1inch. There is a small provider fee, but I noticed the network fees were not too bad. Of course, you will always lose some value in the process but when you're playing with free crypto that's just the price you pay.
If you want to take it a step further, you can swap it again or do a cross chain transfer to get ETH. This, however, is where the fees get pretty hefty and doesn't seem worth it unless you happen to have a large amount to swap. Anyway, just wanted to mention these quick suggestions on what you can do with OP. Over the past year, Trust Wallet has really made swapping tokens a much more seamless and streamlined process. Just always be aware of how much you're spending in fees. Sometimes, you can get a better rate at a different time of the day so it's worth trying a few times to see how low you can get the rates.
You can even go OP --> ETH --> and wind up with BNB if you go the cross chain transfer route. I am used to going directly through Uniswap and others for my swapping needs, so the fact that Trust Wallet now has a swap feature for all the major tokens really makes the whole process that much easier. I know this feature is not entirely new, and some of you may have well been using it a while now. Just sharing some thoughts on the matter.
Here's a summary screenshot of the swap from OP to ETH; pretty reasonable fees
