Well, if you are asked to go to an island where there are no people, not even plants or insects, can you go? You might think there is no such island. But, in reality, there is such an island and that is in our world.
The name of the island is "Baltra Island". Many people think of it as a mysterious island, again a cursed island. There are enough reasons behind it. But first let's find out about the location of the island.
Bralta is one of the 13 islands in the Galapagos Islands near South America. It is a flat island with an area of โโonly 21 sq km.
In World War II, it was used as a US government air base. It gained worldwide recognition through an officer named Francis Wagner. He described the island as one of the most mysterious in his life.
Interestingly, this Bralta has no human habitation, (hence it is also called Dead or Cursed Island) but there are no humans and no insects. (Although many say it was inhabited 100 years ago, the island became a place of death due to an epidemic)
Again being said there are little bushes, cactus. Other islands in the vicinity of Bralta have seals, iguana, giant tortoises, and chameleons, but Bralta does not. In addition, if an animal is allowed to live there, it will soon move to another island.
Surprisingly, there is no rain here in the summer but in the surrounding lamps. Not a drop of rain water falls here. Also, when the cutacompus comes here and becomes stationary or the direction is reversed, it cannot show the specific direction.
Many tourists come to visit the island again and give different views. Some say the island feels peaceful, others behave abnormally, and suffer from mental illness. For example: throwing hands and feet.
So, Bralta Island is really an unsold mystery. Science has not been able to give a proper explanation of these events. Hopefully, explanations for these events will be found in the future. Thanks.
