Acetylcholine is responsible for transferring signals between certain cells that affect specific physiological functions. The drug inhibits acetylcholine due to involuntary muscle movements in the lungs, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, and other areas of the body.
New research conducted by scientists at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, analyzes the association between a certain class of drugs and the risk of dementia.
