Many are opposed to LGBTs because most Filipinos still believe that men are just women, because of the teachings of various churches (especially the Roman Catholic church) The teaching is just part of it of LGBT as long as you don't just have sex with one another.
There are also fundamentalists who insist that LGBT healing is just a lifestyle and phase and will only disappear if you surrender yourself to God.
But there are also pro-LGBT churches where they support and believe that no one has chosen to be LGBT and they are getting married just like the MCC and ECOG churches.
As citizens, we need to remind people that a person does not choose to be LGBT because if they choose to do so, it is said that even heterosexuals can fall for both of them and when they don't want to lose their attraction eventually.
