Wikimedia Bangladesh runs a number of social networking pages to introduce Bengali Wikipedia and other co-projects to ordinary Internet users and to raise awareness about Wikimedia projects. This page deals with the rules governing the official social networking pages run by Wikimedia Bangladesh and posting various types through them. While these are not necessarily the norm, they are usually used to manage the main official pages of Wikipedia, and the Wikimedia Foundation recommends that they be used to manage other local pages as well.
Remember before you post [edit]
Since Wikipedia / Wikimedia is unique in its features compared to other websites on the Internet, extra care should be taken before posting from its social media. Before posting, keep in mind that you are using the Wikipedia / Wikimedia brand and trademark, so you should not make or post anything that conflicts with Wikipedia / Wikimedia's core policies.
Do not promote any products or companies other than Wikipedia and its subsidiaries.
Do not post in favor of any political candidate or create controversy.
Don't post jokes or anything like that.
Do not use images or media from any website other than the Wikimedia website. Always pay attention to the photo license when posting with photos.
Do not post in friendly or abusive language. Always be neutral and careful in language selection before posting. In this regard, you must remember w: Wikipedia: Panchastambha. The same rule should be followed when choosing a comment or a post from the official page.
Except for Wikimedia Bangladesh's Facebook and other pages, you will always try to submit posts from the co-project pages in Bengali and in Bengali script. If you are unsure about the post, discuss it with the members of the social networking team in this Facebook group.
Be the first to share a picture of a Wikimedia event on Twitter, Facebook or any other medium.
And, never share any post from personal account official page.

Granting access to social media
When granting access to someone for security reasons, keep the following in mind. This applies to all social media created by Wikimedia Bangladesh for the Bangla Project.
Only some members of the Wikimedia Bangladesh tech team have "admin" access to all social media.
Grant “Editor or Moderator or similar” access when granting admin access to Facebook.
On Twitter we use TwitterDeck. So give access to Twitter on Twitter.
Provide equal access to "manager" level and other social media on Google Plus as needed.
Posts on Bengali Wikipedia pages are usually buffered. Where 10 posts can be scheduled for all social networking pages at once. Contact Nahid Sultan for buffer access
