Don't have time to read the whole thing? Listen to the blog once!

According to one statistic, about 80% of people in the world are afraid to give a presentation. So the other 20% of people are very brave? No, in fact they are lying.

The experience of most of those who have given a presentation at least once in their life is very scary. I also remember the day I was giving the first presentation, my hands, legs started trembling, my throat was dry. I was very nervous. At first it is very normal. But we can't spend our whole life like this. It is more important to be a good presenter by overcoming this fear.

Because from the beginning of our university life to the end of our corporate life, we have to give presentations in studies, competitions or other activities. If we can master the techniques of giving good presentations, then the history and path of these chapters of life can be glorious. So I will share some great ideas so that everyone can give a presentation with confidence, very easily.

Preparation:

It is very important to make some preparations before going to give a presentation. If the preparation is good, it becomes much easier to move on to the other steps of the presentation. Here are 3 tips to make a good pre-preparation which can make the presentation very easy for you.

1. Take a short walk to the place where the presentation will be given. A good idea about the audience is found when it is done. Otherwise, if you suddenly go in front of a huge audience, you will become very nervous, which will make you forget everything you have prepared.

2. Let's prepare well on the topic on which the presentation will be given. Practicing a few times in front of friends without relying on the mirror is much more effective, a lot of fear is cut off. The fear of seeing one's own image in the mirror does not go away, because no one is afraid of himself.

3. It feels less nervous to see in front of acquaintances while giving a presentation. So, put your best friends in the front row, then you will feel like you are chatting with friends.

Episode:

Now let's come to the main part of the presentation. In this part, we have divided the main content of the presentation into several parts. Let's discuss these.

Starting a presentation

One thing to note is that at the very beginning of the presentation the audience's attention is very high, gradually it decreases. So this 1/2 minute of start is very important. But we pass this time Hi-Hello, Good morning, Welcome to the presentation, myself ** along with my friends Tom, Dick and Harry, bluh bluh say all this. Think about it, but everyone knows this. In order to capture these two / one minutes at the beginning, start the presentation with something that excites people.

1. Start with a story / Quotation:

One thing to note is how much you have read in Bengali, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry in your student life, do you remember all of them now? But the stories you read as a child are very well remembered. The reason is that we humans like stories a lot. I remember the words that I say in the guise of the story a lot. So always start the presentation with a story.

But we like Quotation a lot more, Quotation is very Inspirational and Motivational. So, you can start with a good quotation related to the presentation.

2. You Know What:

This is a fun way to get attention right at the beginning of the presentation. Remember, by writing something on the slide and asking the audience - "You know what?"

As soon as you hear it, everyone will pay attention to you, you will immediately say the most solid point of the presentation. Then everyone will love to hear you.

3. Number / Audience Engagement:

This is another fun way to start a presentation. If you write a number in large size on the slide. Such as - 6, 75, 121 etc. Then you can ask the audience - ‘Did you know?’ And immediately the audience will think ‘Hey! What is it? ’Then they will pay more attention to you.

You can do anything with the audience. As you can ask- ‘How many of you knew this topic? Please Raise your hand! ’Then you will see many people raising their hands, some putting down. This will make everyone move a little and increase everyone's attention towards you.

For example- some of my friends once gave a presentation on ‘Mobile Phone Company’. They will come and talk about Market Share. If they wanted, they could write Samsung **%, Nokia **%, iPhone **%, Others **% in a Pie Chart according to the statistics. Instead, they started asking the audience who was using which phone, how many are Samsung, how many are Nokia, how many are iPhone. The overall market share was shown through the audience. As a result, it was possible to get a lot of attention through audience interaction.

So, start the presentation in an interesting way so that the audience is fascinated and pays full attention to you.

Ending of a presentation:

Just as there is more attention at the beginning of a presentation, there is also a little more attention towards the end. Going in the middle is a little less. Audience remembers the first and last words too much, the words in the middle don't remember much. In the meantime, the audience fainted. So the last part is also very important. Like the first, the last part has to be finished in an interesting way.

Did you know that 99 percent of the world's presentations end with two words? That is - ‘Thank You’. If your presentation ends in a way other than ‘Thank you’, the audience will remember a lot more. Now I will discuss what are the interesting ways you can end your presentation.
