The story of Jude cont'd.
Jude was outstanding in his studies that almost all teachers in school loved him, both those who taught him and those who didn't.
His meekness and gentleness endeared him to everyone and even his mates despite being poor wanted to be friends with him.
During the first school leaving certificate exams, Jude was picked from class 5 to join those in class six (6) and sit for the exams as a result of the total number of people in class six (6) not meeting the minimum required number to sit for the exams.
One will expect Jude to perform below expectation but when the result was out,Jude however made the school proud and was the one with the best result in the school,outscoring even those in class six.
The mother's joy new no bound but she was however sad that it was the end of Jude's education due to her financial status with no one to be go to.
months after the result was out, The headmistress paid a visit to Jude and his poor mother and took them the good news of Jude being awarded a scholarship by the state basic education board for his outstanding and excellent result in the first living school certificate exams.
This was however the news the mother's enemy didn't want to hear even in their next life.
