"The story of jude" episode one
Jude has always been an intelligent and hard working child.
He was the mother's joy even at such a young age of barely 8 years. The mother all over the village was mocked both by her fellow women and by almost every other villager. Perhaps,due to her poverty and be in a widow worsened the whole thing.
How I wished my husband was still alive,I wouldn't have been mocked this,thing would have been a lot different, always Jude's mother will murmur.
Jude grew up being a God fearing child,who never disobeyed nor give the mother headache. It was as if God bless Noami with a child as caring,intelligent and hardworking as her late husband who passed away just 2 years after the birth of their only child Jude.
Noami was a poor widow who survived through her meagre business of selling pepper,onions and other food spices in the local market.
Jude grew up having the believe that if he works hard,he could turn things around and make the mother be celebrated and honored just like other women in the community.
Every day,Jude will trek for 20 to 30 minutes to the neighbouring community where he attended the Government primary school,hence a beneficiary of the free and compulsory education scheme run by the Government of their state.
