#ChinaFaces Calf-less man walks up to 25,000 steps a day to show clients houses

Having lost a lower leg since childhood, Yao Jian, 36, gets around on his knees while on his weekday job. A recent video of him working as a real estate agent in Nanchang in east China's Jiangxi Province brought tears to many eyes. He can walk up to 25,000 steps a day taking clients to see houses. If he encounters a property without elevators he goes up the stairs. He was turned down for other jobs due to his disability, but Yao doesn't feel sorry for himself. And he decided against using prosthesis because he believes it is easier to walk on his knees. He is tough and open-minded and maintains a positive attitude.
