Four men have been arrested following the death of a 19-year-old woman who was gang-raped in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India on September 14 and succumbed to her injuries. Demonstrators gathered outside the Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, Tuesday after news of her death.

Opposition parties in the state have condemned the attack. The party of Dalit politician Chandrashekhar Azad is calling for nationwide protests over her death.
