According to Sport Journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have reached an agreement with the club's Number 1 transfer target Donny Van de Beek who plies his trade with Dutch Eredivisie League champions Ajax Amsterdam.
The Netherlands midfielder has been seriously linked with a move to Old Trafford since the Summer transfer window opened, but after too much delay, Manchester United have reached an agreement with Ajax and the player, and he has accepted to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side till 2025.
Fabrizio Romano posted on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday night that.
"After new contacts also on last hours with his agent, Manchester United have reached a total agreement on personal terms with Donny Van de Beek. The Dutch midfielder has accepted to join Man Utd until June 2025."
He explained further, as he said;
"Man United are now in talks also with Ajax to sign Van de Beek immediatly after the first official bid to be submitted tonight (around €40m). Man Utd are confident to complete the deal at the start of next week agreement close to be done as"
The Football transfer expert concluded by saying;
"here we go soon I guess 👌🏻 tonight the official bid will be submitted to Ajax and Man Utd are confident to sign Van de Beek with no negotiations but matching €40m price tag"
