Bitcoin is the first crypto currency which is accepted world-wide. Bitcoin opened the era of decentralized finance and ensured your money's security. In the case of bitcoin, it ensures you that you are the only owner of it. It provides the first transaction of your bitcoin funds via an online network with a blockchain system. There is a lot more to say about bitcoin. If you look for bitcoin utility and use case, you can not count this manually. This is why today I will talk about Bitcoin's latest use case.
Earlier this year, twitter CEO Jack Dorsey introduced Tip Jar feature on twitter for rewarding good content creators whose content goes viral. I am not sure yet how many regions are accepted for this tips feature but this tips feature supports different payment methods. From Paypal , cash apps look more useful. I think this tips feature is not for my region yet as I have tried to tip but there is no function yet. But they are working because last time on a blog I read they are still working on it still. So leave it.Â
Big news is that this week's twitter CEO confirmed tips jar has added a Bitcoin payment system through the lightning network of Bitcoin which will ensure faster transactions and less fees than normal blockchain transactions. Every functionality is ready there and they are waiting to launch to its users. As I have said earlier, the Twitter CEO proposed this adoption at the beginning of this year but he waited to see the bitcoin lightning network security update. I think that is completed so he is ready to take off now.
To receive bitcoin tips, twitter allows users to add a bitcoin address on their homepage. This is for bitcoin users. And he also added that if there is an eth lover then they can add an eth address too. There will be more payment methods. But this will only allow for a certain number of users to avoid spamming.
