Food Prices Will Double Or Triple, Driving People Insane

If you think people are crazy now, just wait until the price of food goes up to a level that almost no one could have predicted. Most people don't know this, but we are still eating a lot of food that was grown in the year 2021. In 2022, a lot less food is being grown than was expected, which is bad for everyone and will cause a lot of stress around the world in 2023.

Crops in the U.S. and Europe are being destroyed by nightmare droughts. A major war on the other side of the world is making it hard for farmers to get goods from Ukraine, and the price of some fertilizers has gone up by more than four times. This has a huge impact on farmers all over the world.

In 2023, there will be a lot less food to go around, and it will cost us all a lot more. This is, of course, not good news.

The cost of living has, of course, already gotten way out of hand. Zero Hedge says that the median rent in the US has now gone over $2,000 a month for the first time.

Who can rent a place for $2,000 a month? In 2020, the average U.S. worker made just $34,612.04, according to the Social Security Administration.

So it makes sense that most families need more than one income to get by these days. This is what I mean when I say that our living standards are being destroyed in a systematic way.

Each month, a lot of people have to work as hard as they can just to pay their bills. Yes, the top 10% are still doing well, but most of the country is having a hard time.

Because of this, the rising cost of food is a big deal right now. The government just gave us the most recent numbers, which show that the cost of "food at home" has been going up at the fastest rate since 1979.

In reality, though, we haven't seen anything yet. Most of what we see at the store now is a result of what happened last year.

Let me give you an example to help you understand what I mean.

In the last few days, there has been a lot of talk in the news about how Idaho is running out of potatoes. Most people don't realize, though, that this shortage was caused by a very hot summer last year. Now, at the end of 2022, people are feeling the effects of a bad harvest 2021.

When we look into the future, what our farmers are going through right now will hit us hard in 2023. For example, it is said that the price of some fertilizers has gone up by more than four times what it was before. When those cost increases are passed on to us in 2023, a lot of people are going to scream bloody murder.

But we will at least have food. There won't be enough food for everyone on the other side of the world. I've been trying to tell people for years that global famines are going to happen, but I don't think it's getting through to many of them.

And of course, famine is only one part of "the perfect storm" we are facing right now. And things are only going to get worse over the next few months.

As things get worse, there are going to be a lot of people who go completely crazy. And in the coming months and years, many people will stop having any hope. Let's try to be lights of hope because people will need hope a lot in the times that are coming. Christ alone is the one and only hope for the future. The Bible was written to encourage us and point us toward the bright future God has prepared for those who call themselves his children. To shine brightly, let God's word dwell deep within you so that you can confidently spread the gospel when it's most needed.

Things will change on the physical plane, but on the spiritual plane, provision is guaranteed even if the circumstances don't appear favorable.
