When Noah build an Ark people mocked him, when Sodom and Gomorrah were punished, people were not aware, they kept partying and enjoying all the pleasures the world can give. Same as today people will never know when will the end times will happen.

So "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong." ~1 Corinthians 16:13
