If you want to live in Germany Düsseldorf could be a considerable option. It doesn't have much to offer for tourists. But if you want to live here it could be a good choice. - The city is neither too big, not too small. - Compared to other big cities housing is still affordable - People are more open-minded, especially towards asian people because Düsseldorf has Europes biggest Japanese community which is an integrated and well-loved part of the city - It's ranked amoung the German cities with the happiest people - There are many jobs offered by international companies - It's a wealthy city with a really good quality of life

I have read job postings that Germany offers international studies for Filipino nurse and including baking. Such a nice opportunity I must say when you want to experience countryside and a scenery closer to Switzerland.
Yes, that's true. There are new initiatives by the government to attract workers from non EU countries to move to and work in Germany. Getting a working visa is made easier for professions that are needed here. Btw. From Düsseldorf to Switzerland it's just 5 hours by train or 1 hour by plane. In Germany it's normal that people are doing weekend trips to countries like Netherlands, Switzerland, France or Poland.
I think they don't need English teachers? Or maybe when someone can speak German and English at the same time. Have you been to Switzerland?
In general Germany is lacking of teachers. Also English teachers. BUT at German schools English is teached in German. So as an English teacher from abroad you need to also know German at C1 level. If you know German you can get through the process of recognition of your teaching qualifications to be allowed to teach at a German school. Yes. I actually have been to Switzerland several times since we always went to the area around the Bodensee during summer holidays. But I never touched ground because we always where just passing through by car. 😅
For me, German is very challenging to learn compared to Spanish. Maybe because your words are pronounced more differently. You never stepped the land of Switzerland? I would love to be in Zurich and Geneva. The countryside and the mountains, the lakes. 😍
When I hear people talk in Tagalog it often sounds similar to Spanish in my opinion. Also many names of Filipinos sound Spanish to me. Maybe that could be a reason why Spanish is more easy to you... Yes, I agree... Switzerland is a really beautiful country...
Yup. Actually Spain is hiring Filipino English teachers with a qualification of I guess b1 in Spanish. I never think about dreaming to work in Spain but I did practice Spanish during the pandemic with the basic phrases. Maybe I'm not so fascinated with their culture but I'm happy they are accepting Filipino teachers. I'm very much curious and interested to teach in America and our neighboring Asian countries there, I wanna experience the way of living. And I wish I can teach or study in Switzerland. 😂
I see! That's really cool! You should consider all options you have to achieve your dream and work on making it reality. I know that many people from the Philippines decide to work abroad. So if you work hard it will be possible for you too.
