On noise.cash I can select the text of a post and click the "Translate" button to get a vague idea of what the post is about. (Since the translation isn't the best π ) But here within the noise.app app it's not possible and the majority of posts in my feed I don't even understand. I just started giving a heart to every post regardless if I can read it or not. π

Tbh the majority of people I follow here are from the Philippines. π€π
Not sure about mobile, but I can select the text on laptop and then can easily translate using google translator extension. Like this:
Hm. You are right. π€ Theoretically I could translate them on a laptop... π€π

The problem is that my laptops are always really busy... π€§π
heyy, I just checked on mobile and we can select and copy the text there as well. But, you'll have to open an individual post in a tab. Like, click on this link https://noise.app/Rektflip/lprxn7xp and then try to select the text
Oh! I see! Nice find! Thank you! But this doesn't work with the Andorid app... π€π Hm ... Maybe I should switch to the browser again... π
For this reason I'm trying to follow the people who post English only. It's really constraining but I see no other way around it for now :D
It's a bit sad since it reduces the multicultural exchange here... π€π
Yeah. That's what I think so, too π that's one of the purposes of the site, right? To share with others from around the world
Yes... I hope they will find an easy solution for this soon.
