Living a minimalistic life in the Japanese country side. No need for expensive cars, expensive clothes or other products. There is no need to buy a lot of food because most of your food is growing in the garden. You don't have to work. All your running costs like health care, internet, water is payed by your investment returns. Since work turned extremely stressful I started thinking about this idea again...

You are dreaming of living in Japan while I'm also dreaming of living in Switzerland. May we fulfill our soul country dreams. I feel like there's more deep reason why we're longing to see these beautiful places. π
Thank you! So far I never left Germany in my life besides driving over to Austria... In less than 7 days I will fly over to Japan for a vacation... I wonder how things will be there... Visiting Switzerland is quite a challenge and I think you should prepare well for that. I hope you can go there soon!

Thank you. π€§ Yes it is. I never went to a country where people don't speak German... And I will fly there alone... I think I will!! Basically Switzerland is pretty expensive. By preparing I mean that you have to save up some money. The average monthly salary in Switzerland is 7338$ I think. So everything like food, hotel, transportation, activities will be expensive too... If you are at a restaurant and a glass of water is 10$ I wouldn't be surprised... π
You are so brave for travelling alone but I believe it's going to be memorable for you (hey you're not travelling alone, you're going to share how your travel in Japan feels here in noise with us π). So we will travel virtually with you hahaha. Who knows maybe you will finally find your ideal woman there? I have watched a tiktok video about how to save money while on Switzerland and what they do is they drink money from the fountain and rivers. In short, I have to become rich if I really want to go in Switzerland. ππ

You actually don't have to be rich to travel or even to live in Switzerland. For example cashiers can earn like up to 5000$ a month there at Aldi I think. The salary for a waiter can be similar. Learning German doesn't cost you any money. And if you know some German finding a job in Switzerland maybe could be easier. π There are many tricks and ways how you can travel to or live in Switzerland without that much money. But you need to prepare and plan a lot! π
That must be exciting for you and I think you will learn about the culture in Japan! If I would go to Japan, I would try to see the monastery and talk to Buddhist there (because Japan is home to Buddhism) that's one interesting and also their culture. If you are in a city like Tokyo, of course it's very modernized and not so-much cultural. Enjoy there and don't forget to approach someone, maybe you will meet the special person in your life who knows.. I am actually not dreaming to work in Switzerland (because I cannot see myself living a European life π) I am eager to be a tourist for a week or month just to see the Swiss Alps. Anyway, I am wondering if they accept Asian English teachers or tutors.. I wonder what are the tricks to travel and live in Switzerland without money (without marrying). I think I'm going crazy thinking about Switzerland. If not because of my recurring dreams. π
I actually don't have the intention to get into a relationship in Japan. But maybe I meet people who I can interact with or become friends with. Who knows... But I won't stress myself. I will do what I feel like doing and try just to relax. π The tricks are basically the general money saving tips I think. Sleeping in a hostel or an AirBNB (maybe even camping), booking the flight and stay very early, if you are staying longer driving over to Austria or Germany to buy cheap food to eat, going to a swiss discounter, getting a Swiss Half Fare Card, going there off the season, not going to the main tourist spots, etc. Without money it's not possible to travel to Switzerland. But if you book a flight early it can get cheap like 900$. Switzerland still is the most expensive country but if you are doing a minimalistic 2 weeks backpacker vacation you can be as cheap as ~3000$ in total for this trip.

These pictures make you feel calm and relaxed even though you aren't there... Nature is pretty amazing! Hm. I'm not sure... But I will definitely post some pictures here on noise. π€ Btw the Rhine also flowes through Germany. I basically live "next" to it. π
There is really something I can't explain about Switzerland, when you look at the pictures, it feels so otherworldly. It makes me want to live there and be at peace with nature. Oh, Rhine is connected to Germany? I think you are witnessing paradise scenery everyday
I can relate! In my childhood we went to the Bavarian alps every year during summer holidays! No... π€§ Actually this is what the Rhine looks like where I live... π¬π And it's still a 15 minutes drive from home...
Is Switzerland and Germany looking really the same? I think you are living near the city and the place where you live is industrialized. By the way, I remember a horror story I've read I can't remember when, it's about the Swiss cults living in the alps they're bringing a light while walking on the dawn. I wonder if that folklore is true..
I would say Austria looks more similar to Switzerland than Germany. But Germany has alps and beautiful nature too. π For me personally it always felt like "freedom" walking around and smelling this fresh mountain air. π Germany also has many "industrialized" areas which are rather ugly. That's where I live... Hm. I never heared of that. π€ Not sure if that's true... This is what I want in Switzerland. A house in a country side with very few neighbors and when I wake up everyday I will just climb on the mountains or bath in the river. I think this is real freedom because you are not confined by the suffocating society. I want to live with my family there, with cats and every animals. This is how I always picture out the Swiss country side.

Wow, that video reminds me of the video of yodelling kid from Ukraine's Got Talent I shared here last year. There's something running in my mind as I think about living in a beautiful country side in Switzerland far from the people. I was wondering if it's possible for me to feel loneliness there because I was in an isolated place but I think that's just my curious questions in my head. For me, Switzerland is a place for attaining spiritual enlightenment.
At least there is a huge difference between being lonely and just being alone. π€
