Nobody besides you is allowed to tell you what to do, how to live life, who to love or what to believe in. - One relative of mine who is a bit more wealthy wasn't okay about her daughter marrying a "poor" roofer. - My dad wasn't okay with my sister getting a tattoo. - I think my grandparents weren't happy when I decided to stop being an altar boy and stopped going to church. At the end we did it anyway and they accepted our decision. NOBODY defines yourself and your way of living besides you. Not your parents, society, friends or partner. Not even institutions like the government, church, your company or clubs. As long as you aren't hurting anyone it's okay. If they don't accept your own decision they don't actually care about you. Only about someone they want you to be.
