Since about December 2021 I'm not eating meat or drinking milk anymore. For me it's an ethical and personal decision. I don't want to participate in this horrible animal suffering. There is no need to eat meat so I don't. I don't want any animal to suffer or to die for me. The milk and meat industry is one of the most cruel things... I discussed my diet with two doctors and got my blood stats checked twice. Everything is fine. I fully respect people who still eat meat. When cooking with/for my dad we just cook the meat in a separate pan so my dad can eat his meat and I can eat my veggies and artifical plant based meat. I don't care if the people around me decide to eat meat. It's just a personal decision that I don't. Finding vegetarian food in Japan will become a challenge too for sure. 😬 In the worst case I will eat salted rice every single day! 😂 Btw. cows are such loving, caring, curious and intelligent animals. Just like big dogs. Many see cows, pigs and chicken just as a source of meat. But these are actually living individuals who have the same feelings like humans and a high degree of intelligence. 🤔😊 I found this cute picture on the Internet.

The photo is so cute! I cannot bear to think that the carabaos here in Philippines are used as a machine farming all day under the heat of the sun with bare rest and on the festival they are slaughtered and served on the table. The carabaos hardwork in farming whole day under the sun is never rewarded. They are only slaughtered at the end.
The mass production of meat and milk you can buy at the supermarket is even worse... 😟 At least these carabaos have seen nature in their life and are allowed to move...... When eating meat or sausages from the supermarket people don't even realize the incredible pain and horror that was caused to produce this. The more you find out about how this industry works and what is actually going on you realize that it's like a nightmare. It's something we humans went way too far with.
I agree with personal. I hope it makes you healthy cos l read a lot about plant-based diets or mostly-whole food plant-based diets making humans healthier. Plants releasing stress pheromones & alerting other plants in the area that humans are killing them is a different matter altogether >_<°
So you think there is no difference between plants who have no nerve system or brain who can't feel pain and human like animals? 🤔 Plants can respond to their environtment in a way we would describe as stress, but it's not based on feelings how we describe.
