Anime is very flexible with its content. Imagine from action packed adventure of One Piece to a heartbreaking drama of Clannad, anime proves itself that it is not just a child show.

But sometimes it's genre can go overboard to Gore, Murder and Death that is so unlikely for children to watch. And one example of this is,

Death Note

Death note is popular because of its Dark Psychological content. It is an anime directed by Tetsurō Araki and first aired on October 3, 2006. The anime is all about the teenager boy who got himself a mysterious notebook that whoever names written in it will die. Honestly, this anime is really good. It will give you a thought if you will gonna love or hate the main character.

But along with its popularity, did you know that this anime got banned in China and almost got banned in Mexico. We all know that china is really strict when it comes to censorship of shows or games. They didn't like this show because of it's content about justice and murder that even influence the school children to make their own death note and put the name of their enemy in it. So the government takes action and put this anime into their banned list.

True, maybe it's because of their population. It's so hard for them to control billions of people.
