Plot
In modern Japan where birth rate is greatly declining, your future partner is decided by the Government through compatibility calculations. At the age of 16 they will give you a notice where your partner is decided and you have to make contact no matter what. They call this method "Red String of Science".
Despite of the rule that you should not have any relationship before receiving your notice, a boy named Nejima Yukari defies the rule and confess his love to Misaki Takasaki (his childhood crush and first love). But after Misaki returnes her feelings Yukari received his notice and found out that his future spouse is not Misaki. It is story of different kinds of love or lies for someone you love as well as choosing a person between someone you love and a person chosen for you to be loved.
This manga is the most unique and somewhat realistic Romance-Drama that I ever read. It is relatable and you'll get hooked by the story that even if you put your self in the shoes of Yukari, you'll have a hard time choosing between your first love and your destined partner.

Plot
The plot is unique and I really love it. Although there are few questionable parts especially on how they base the calculations for your partner. Aside from that it is a good plot for a Drama-Romance manga.
Storyline
Its storyline is perfect, although it's a bit slow. Some story that didn't make sense in the first chapters are started to reveal in latest chapters. I love how unpredictable the story was. It makes meĀ excited for the next chapters.
Art/Visuals
Its visual is really stunning. You can feel the emotions of the characters through the art (it all makes sense for its genre). The character designs is really great and the facial expression is very realistic. If you're a Romance and pure Drama fans, this manga's visuals is the one you might love.
Characters
All of the chatacters in the manga is really good, except for the main character Yukari. His character is so unreleastic and unrelatable. In the first half of the manga, his character development barely improved. Not until 200th chapter where the story makes it turning point. Aside from that, the remaining characters is great and lovable.
Overall Review
If I'm going to rate this manga I'll give it 8.9/10. It should be lower if not because of it latest Volume (Volume 10) where the feelings of Misaki is explained. I also love how they explained love in every complicated situations like complicated in Gender, Age, First Loves and Lies. My score may greatly improve depending on the next volume of the story. Who knows its not on the peak of its climax yet. Overall, this manga is highly recommendable for Romance and Drama fans out there. It is worthy to be read.
