It’s easy for us to say we’ll take action, but if we don’t follow through with it then we’re just making empty promises . If you can’t follow through with the promises that you make, especially to yourself, then you’ll not only hurt others but you’ll damage your integrity.

empty promises or breaking a promise should be normalized. people should learn how to cope up with them or how to do them so they could not hurt someone or disappoint someone. the popular "promises are meant to be broken" should stop.
