Breaking smile

Big smile staring up at mother's face,

Melting her heart over and over at this precious gift,

Soft hands caressing mother's cheek,

Small fingers asking mother's mouth to join in the suck,

Warmth of God lighting up baby's face,

Unspoken love for life that gave life,

Language undeciphered from ages past,

Tell it to mother, she knows her baby tongue.

Life that gave life the Creator,

Life that birthed life the channel,

Life that came forth the gift,

Life for all is love overflowing

Force contained in this little force all encompassing,

Forming a cord of love between mother and child,

The indivisible bond between mother and child,

Accepted by father's, known to mother's.
