For every desire and expectations there have always been principles to its actualization, steps to take to getting it achieved, you want to top your class in academics, then you've got to give in extra efforts in studying, efforts that would strike a difference between you and all else, to desire alone doesn't do the job, there have to be some corresponding action.
One this great day so many years ago, our lord paid the price for humanity, and just as his footings are for our emulation, we should also be geared to take up the take of paying the price, of embarking on the journey and enjoying the process, there are what we can do, though as humans in our usual nature if greed its normal we seek to cut corners, but as the saying goes, there is a way that looks right, but the end thereof is not palatable. Isn't it time to pay the due price for the desired cravings? I guess its the best day to talk about making sacrifices.
Sometimes the price to paying isn't in embarking on a journey of ambitions, it could in self denial, in cutting off those habits, its never easy, if it were so then We'd expect everyone to be successful right, but the fact that not everyone is yet successful amidst everyone hoping to be successful is a call to know there's something deep in it that not everyone wants to do. To wake a man up from his convenience, to say wake up from sleeping is never a joy to the hearing, if we all had our way we'd hope that nature and God just keep favouring us while we keep getting lazier by the day.
A great mind knows its time to work, he knows harvest comes only after seeds has been sown and monitored, luck isn't cheap, favours are earned, this you must know, there isn't anyone favoured for no peculiar reason, there is some reason, some price paid, maybe price paid to their deity to make them worthy of such favours or their stronger faith on such areas attracted it such, yet what we know as luck often has a lot of hidden prices paid, yet we are grateful all the same.
On this great day if we are not learning from the great teacher, then I see no need for taking the holidays, from creation there has been some imbalance as a result of the first man giving in to the scheme of the serpent (the devil) in eating the forbidden fruit and so resulted into man losing his position in eden, the devil needs to be dethroned and so was Jesus sent for this specific task, to bring man to his rightful place, to paving a way from man direct to the father, our creator (God Almighty) no more rifts, no more do we need the ark of the covenant nor do we need specialize priest to help us communicate to our creator any longer, no more like in the beginning where our creator could communicate with man, Jesus has successfully made it possible again. Now we can directly communicate with our God as the vile has been torn. Finally!!
Such great a task wouldn't possibly be an easy one, we have seen and studied how he yet being a man of flesh and temptation just like us, could live a blameless life free from accusations, oh how perfect he performed his task just for mankind. Today we celebrate the greatest the world have ever seen. We are the next, but how much of the job are we ready to do, are we aware of the job requirements, what we ought to do. The role models we have, do we know how much of the process they took so we can start trodden same path now. Its all a system, follow the rule, engage the process, you'll have no problem with getting the end result. No one is different, if it can work before, if one can do it, then you too can.
