Take a moment and imagine Jesus didn't rise, imagine that the wage of sin being death overcame the one who died to wash away the sins, thereby overcame by it's reward too being death. What would have been the boast of Christians today, what would have been our assurance that we must expect a second coming. When we see persecutions today, would we still hope on a brighter day, a day of reckoning to help us stand firm, Or just like every prophet who has shown supernatural powers and claim to hear and directed from God, we might have taken Jesus to be such again, no difference from all others, would he have earn the right to be the way to the father. I guess there would have been a great difference in our approach to the good gospel of our lord.
At the start of the journey, Man's forbearer being Adam, the first of his kind, the very first of creation lost his rightful position also his intimacy with God via disobedience, a personal communication was experienced, not by works or credibility, by nature of his placement and knowledge by order and mandate as given by his creator alone, he was fit for the father's presence, his mind and hearts was untouched and unstained, as he was directed he operated, he could approach the grand master fully assured that he would be responded to, all his being and existence was aware of his lords goodness, there also was a tree, a tree of knowledge, as the Bible describes, mostly called as a tree of good and evil, and for a very good reason, this tree was directed to be untouched.
The best fit for a man undoubtedly is a woman, already man was created I'm his (Gods) own image and likeness, so he already knows what would be pleasing to his created, and so he made woman, no doubt man would love her, and yes, man did. Well truthfully the command came to man before a woman was created and so maybe the gospel wasn't preached to her by her man, and so she was easily convinced by a lesser creation, of course the job of naming the animals was solely for them to do, also was man given to take care of the garden, so invariably everything was in their hand so take charge including the serpent, although he was talking, they still hand an upper hand. Agree?
Let's not forget the clause given alongside the prohibition of eating the fruit of good and evil, the forbidden fruit of knowledge, the clause says " the day you eat it, you shall die. Why? Did they die, think deep, did they really die?... Well not that day they ate it, but of course that day they die, same with every sinners, the reward of our living in sin is death, just as I said the wages of sin is death, so when they ate it, remember they have eaten evil though alongside good, and so they could not see the father who as we are aware could not behold evil too, also they were no longer in the everlasting life bundle of the father's original plan, now they must die, oh they died right.
So death is a symbolism for sin, so no saint should die right, now you see reasons why Jesus has to rise, unlike us all who has our bodies sinful and even our spirit sinful, Jesus was blameless, his body was indeed the temple for the father, his body was no doubt a vessel for the father's use, and so much for his spirit, that was spotless that was clearly shown at the transfiguration. Where his body shown bright as Elijah and moses appeared to him at the mount of prayers. No doubt he wasn't deserving of the reward of death, but then there was a task at hand.
Anyone who can proof and same time teach the world the God kind of life, letting us all know that it's very achievable, would be the best person to bear our sins, also plead a pardon on our behalf, his blood was the best atonement sacrifice the universe could offer in exchange for a place back to the father, before Jesus came, we have been rendering the blood of bulls and calf, the priest has been our linkup, what else or rather who else can do a better and PERMANENT job compared to the one who knew no sin. The one who the father has to publicly declare and say "This is my beloved SON, in whom I'm well pleased". Who else.
He had to rise. Now the job is done, he has taught, he has laid the new life and has made provision for it to be spread abroad, he has done good, he has corrected evil, he has forgiven sins, the will of the father is no longer far fetched, someone has told us all we need to know and more, now he must pay the ultimate price thereby doing us the most precious favour, taking our sins away, and given us a better way out, just believing and acceptance and we can enjoy what Adam enjoyed and much more, cause unlike Adam who meet with the father whenever he comes around, we have the father always in us, at salvation his spirit becomes our spirit, and as the Bible tells us " who search and tells us the deep things of God except his spirit " now that spirit the Holy spirit who's one with the father, is always in us, isn't that wonderful?...
Its the best gift to mankind, let's not forget we get to live forever, of course death has been defeated, now we have an everlasting life, we live on and await our mansion afterlife, the one Jesus keeps preparing for us. Even at our bodily death, we are happy because our new and best life is just beginning, a life with no death anymore, a life with no sickness, no hunger, no hate nor strives, a life of unmeasurable joy... A hope, a home where's peace reigns forever more.
Yes, we are happy he did rise thereby helping our boast and unbelief, now we can say His blood has paid the ultimate price for me, I believe him and so I have the life of Christ. Oh thank you Jesus, what you did no one could have ever EVER done. I live in remembrance. Thank you lord... #Jesus is risen. #Happy easter.
