On the afternoon of World Tourism Day on Sunday, a group of school, college and university volunteers from the Corona Isolation Center in Chittagong, doctors, nurses and a group of school, college and university volunteers took part in the battle.
During this time, they collected huge amount of wastes floating on Cox's Bazar beach with excessive bottles, plastic and indigestible substances.

Nurul Azim Rony, chief coordinator of Corona Isolation Center Chittagong, said, "A group of people of different ages have joined the war to prevent corona." After working for a long time, I came to Cox's Bazar beach to get rid of the stubbornness. While walking in the sand dunes, I saw that various types of wastes have polluted the beach. Most of these wastes are bottled and plastic products. Cox’s Bazar beach is our national asset. Everyone has a responsibility to protect it. Tourists should throw garbage in certain places. The country's tourism industry needs to be effectively represented in the world court through cleanliness.
This year, Tourism Day is celebrated in the face of uncertainty as the sector most affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. The main theme of the day this year is 'Tourism and Rural Development'.

On the other hand, after cleaning the beach, the Corona Warriors team from Chittagong cut a cake on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's birthday at 12:01 pm on the same day. They cut the cake in the conference room of a residential hotel in the hotel-motel zone under the leadership of former general secretary of Chittagong Metropolitan Chhatra League Nurul Azim Rony. After cutting the cake, prayers were also offered for the longevity of the Prime Minister.
