We all belong to professional life now 🙂 and we also use mediums to approach others. Email is one of the best way to communicate. And there is some etiquettes of email writing you should always keep in mind.

These tips are mainly when you are applying for a Job. After Careful look at Job Description JD. Keep following things in mind.

Cover Letter in the Body:

You should include the cover letter as inline text (as a part of the email) instead of an attachment unless the job advertisement specifically asks for it that way.

Recipients:

To: The intended recipient of the email. This is the main person you're writing the email to.

cc: The person to be kept informed but not the target of the email. This person will get a copy of the email same as the main recipient.

bcc: Also the person to be kept informed but not the target of the email. This person will also get a copy of the email, but will not be visible to any of the other recipients.

reply all: This will send the reply to everyone in the recipients' list. Use this only if you are certain you want the email to go to everyone otherwise avoid using it.

Subject line:

The subject of the email should be concise, direct and to the point. It should convey the very gist of why the email is being sent.

I will be there with other tips soon...!
