DO QUICK : Stop the procrastination.
Most people delay to do things - even some truly important things. Time awaits for no one. Many have lost great things, even their own lives because of delay to heed warnings on time. For example, the warning came that there would be flooding disaster in June 2013 but many people in that region were not convinced that the needed quickly to escape. These were people who said things like " I wanted to wait and see how bad it was going to be ". The flooding came as announced. It caused millions of dollars in damage and the death of a lot people.
You only have one night to live ( YOLO). You can decide to use it to do good, help people around and leave a good legacy behind. If you do good in your life time, you will receive the reward in this life and eternity. The same thing with doing bad things. A lot of people who have lived and gone before us have spent their entire life doing good, helping people and leaving behind good legacies. Take for example, Mary Slessor came to Africa as a missionary and stopped the killing of twins and human sacrifice. William Wilberforce stopped slave trade in the British Empire. David Livingstone found the route to the interior of the East Africa so that he would preach the gospel to the natives. Hudson Taylor preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to thousands of Indians and helped them to attain Salvation.
Don't give up. Never you procrastinate and post-pone things that will benefit your life. Joni Earecson Tada had a driving accident which made her crippled for the rest of her life. She lost her legs and was confined to a wheelchair. She had great hopes for a bright and excellent future before the accident occurred despite being crippled. She did not stop her education. She learnt to paint, holding the brush between her teeth and learnt to write that way too. She also attended university. She formed a Christain organisation called JONI and FRIEND'S to help people with disabilities.
She became a great artists and writer, with 18 books to her credit. She wrote at one time, "I don't know what lies ahead, but I do know who I am. I have a dream and I know where I'm going ". She was able to help others who had similar challenges to get on well in life without depression.
It's important for every individual irrespective of age, colour and educational level and social status knows who he or she is. A popular song goes thous " We are the chosen generation, came forth to show His excellence. All I require for life, God has given me and I know who I am ".
We are in the year 2021, 2020 was almost like a year of sorrow. Many people died from the pandemic, some lost their loved ones and their means of livelihood. We actually ought to say that 2020 was marred with a lot of irregularities and problems. We are in 2021, we shouldn't allow what happened in 2020 to weigh us down. "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger ". We need to look at the brighter side of life. My daddy used to tell me that "Once there's life, there's hope. Do not be weighed down, never lost hope for Joy cometh in the morning.
A very good r Writer you are
