DISCLAIMER - This is not financial advice; this post is for entertainment purposes only.)

I figured the best way to deal with the unrelenting bitcoin FUD was to ignore it. Hence, my one week off crypto. So two weeks later, we are spending the weekend waiting for the death cross to occur. Even the positive vibe after Bitcoin Miami 2021 seemingly is dissipating into the ether (bad pun).

Like always, the portfolio was a little up, a little down. (In baseball parlance, my week would have been 14 wins, 8 losses.)

I'm still partial to the narrative that this summer will see the start of bitcoin's parabolic run and I'm setting myself up for it.

Looking at the updated table of bitcointreasuries.org (which formed the genesis of my portfolio), it appears the site has morphed into https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/treasuries/.

The site is now only showing the publicly-traded bitcoin companies holding over 500 BTCs. The companies with less BTCs seem to have disappeared from the site. With less publicity and less demand for these smaller stocks, maybe it's time for me to move on from some of them.

That said, here are my returns for the last thirty weeks based on the percentage gain/loss on the valuation tab on my discount brokerage summary page.

MOGO.wts continued their roller coaster movements. (Mogo is a Canadian fintech company with a bitcoin division.) Last week, I sold half and moved the proceeds into a gold mining stock.

A couple weeks ago, I received my MOGOcardNow what did I do with it?

Well, I transferred some fiat into the debit card and spent it to get a 1% bitcoin cashback, which I used to stack some sats. For June, they have increased the cash back to 2%. I am still searching for a way to buy bitcoin with it, so in effect, getting bitcoin on top of bitcoin.

Still in the process of reexamining why I'm invested in Banxa.

Miners made a nice small recovery from Black Wednesday but the big news was that HUT, HIVE, MARA, RIOT and GLXY are now on the rolodex of Saylor and Musk.

The Canadian miners (HUT, BITF, HIVE) are on the verge of challenging MARA and RIOT for market cap supremacy. HUT 8 announced their Nasdaq listing for June 15. BITF and HIVE will soon follow. The American miners have market caps in the $3 B USD range, while most of the Canadian miners are under $1 B. Easy pickings.

Apparently BlackRock is a major shareholder in MARA. Wait till they see how undervalued the Canadian miners are.

I will have to make some decisions on the smaller companies that I own - HODL FORT GWAC DMGI MKTY.

My best purchase by a mile has been VYGR and it is now up a cool 2581% since the November 20, 2020 week.

CEO Steve Ehrlich continues to make the rounds. Their marketing continues with some Youtubers issuing out some very optimistic target prices.

BIGG Digital Assets (BIGG):+230.6% (Jun 11/21) +211.8% (Jun 4/21) +186.1% (May 28/21) +170.7% (May 21/21) +199.8% (May 14/21) +201.5% (May 7/21) +350.5% (Apr 30/21) +347.1% (Apr 23/21) +583.5% (Apr 16/21) +497.9% (Apr 9/21) +292.3% (Apr 1/21) +235.8% (Mar 26/21) +263.2% (Mar 19/21) +179.2% (Mar 12/21) +165.5% (Mar 5/21) +100.4% (Feb 26/21) +109.0% (Feb 19/21) +61.0% (Feb 12/21) +69.0% (Feb 5/21) +22.8% (Jan 29/21) +17.5% (Jan 22/21) +32.0% (Jan 15/21) +53.1% (Jan 8/21) +32.0% (Dec 31/20) +24.1% (Dec 24/20) +21.4% (Dec 18/20) -12.9% (Dec 11/20)

BIGG's stock price has been improving the last few weeks.

This item caught my eye - Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary mentioned on Kitco News and also on Anthony Pompliano's podcast that he has invested in a private company DeFi Ventures, along with other investors. Looks like BIGG is one of the other investors. So BIGG appears to have a private venture arm, in addition to their analytics/security subsidiaries.

My consumer complaint - After signing up on BIGG's crypto exchange subsidiary (Netcoins.ca), I have had some trouble with funding the account as I want to fund it via the bill payment route only as I absolutely hate email money transfers. The bill payment option is available but I get an error because my credit union is expecting a 6 digit number in the account number field while my Netcoins account number has 9 alpha-numeric characters.

While that's a slight bump in the road, it's still an impediment to on-ramping new accounts. If only one side talked to the other.

GLXY is a keeper with its planned US up-listing in the second half of 2021. It's very obvious they will need to be on a bigger exchange. I have continued to buy more GLXY.

I exited my position at 54% to preserve some gains in a falling market and used funds to averaged down on Coinbase.

All 3 BTC ETFs have dropped a good 20-30% during the last little while and will be candidates for dollar cost averaging. Will add first to BTCX as I believe they have the lowest management fees (0.4% vs 1.0% for the other two).

Conclusion:

Something I have observed - slowly, like miners adding to a blockchain, my posts are getting longer as I add more data, week after week.

As this is my buy and hold bitcoin stocks portfolio, I am also buying secondary trading positions on some of the stocks, especially my longer-term holds and I may decide to take profits on others and add to the winners.

My long term holds - all the ETFs, GLXY, VYGR.
