Phosphate gas has been found in the clouds of the nearest planet Venus. Which has made scientists optimistic about the existence of life on the planet.
Astronomers say phosphine gas is made up of a type of bacteria. Bacteria produce this gas only in the presence of oxygen. Although no living thing has been directly identified, the discovery points to the possibility of oxygen and even tiny microorganisms on Venus. Scientists uncovered this information by observing the clouds of Venus using powerful telescopes in Atacama, Hawaii and Chile in the United States.
