Has anyone tried shopping online? Whether for a new shirt or a pair of shoes. Have you ever imagine your groceries being delivered to your doorstep after buying them online ? Well, as cool and convenient as it sounds, we can now place our orders anything under the sun via online shopping. In our country, Lazada is one of the pioneer when it comes to online shopping, secondly is Shopee. And the giant one: Amazon, Alibaba, eBay Etsy and the like are widely known as a virtual shopping mall mostly in the US and in some part of the world. Ever since the outbreak of covid19 most of us better stay safe at home and avoid going on to crowded places like groceries stores and shopping malls.
No wonder, one of the billionaires now are from these kind of businesses. Electronic Commerce ( e-commerce) has been a leap of faith especially during these times of pandemic. If only we can turn back 20 years ago and invest to these kind of assets and be really as bountiful as Jack Ma and Jeff Bezos. I could only wish though.
As far as the technology has gone through, for everything is done online. Be it an online payment, internet is part of our necessities these days.
Little did we know, 20 years ago when everything was just a wishful thinking that one day we will be this high tech? From analog phone to touch screen pads. From literally going to groceries and buying our essential needs daily to adding them to cart via these e-commerce platform. Is there could be a room for another transition of change in the future?
Well we can't tell yet. Let the new generations do the story telling.
