Inter-Tribal Conflicts : In the period following the discovery of agriculture the population and the pressure on the agriculture increased to a considerable extent. At that time in many places the farmers used to occupy the cultivable land by driving out the savages. When the savages learnt and began cultivation the dispute over land started. Naturally land became the apple of discord among the various tribes.
When the surplus crops and wealth were collected in the towns, after the growth of the urban civilisation, the possibility of invasion of other tribes increased. The temptation of crops and wealth led the people of one tribe to attack the town of another tribe. Besides, grabbing of the fertile land along with the farmers working on them, and the snatching of domestic animals were also the causes of inter-tribal conflicts.
