Playing a PUBG game without rest, this boy dies of a heart attack

A tragic incident due to online game addiction recently took place in Egypt. Launching from the India Times, Wednesday (7/10/2020), a 12-year-old boy reportedly died of a heart attack while playing the popular PUBG video game for hours.

The story began when the boy's parents entered his room to see the activities their child was doing. However, when summoned, the boy did not respond, while the PUBG game was still online on his cellphone.

Play video games for hours without rest

According to the Egypt Independent, worried about the child's condition, the boy was rushed to the nearest hospital. But unlucky, he was pronounced dead on his arrival to the hospital.

According to local media, the boy played video games for hours without taking a break. He died of a heart attack caused by increased blood pressure and he also had problems with being overweight.

Similar Case

Similar cases also occurred in China. Two boys aged 9 and 11 were reportedly addicted to the popular video games Mini Wold and Game of Peace during the lockdown.

Unexpectedly, they are desperate to jump from the building where they live as high as 50 feet to see if they will come back to life like their favorite video game characters.

They were badly injured, and suffered fractures that required several surgical procedures.

"Let's see if we will come back to life as in the game. Then he and I tried to jump off the building, "the 11 year old told reporters.

The boy's parents previously bought a smartphone, and they spend up to eight hours a day playing two mobile games.
